Good news for both consoles, so much for that Wii U head start LOL.

With both systems well over 1 million in pre-orders, this is great news. I hope they both sell million so they can get lots of game support.

Well, considering the X1 is releasing in 13 countries, 1 million pre-orders is achieveable. The population of the UK is 63 million for example.

I don't understand why people take these "analysts" so seriously. They are literally paid to just speculate. There's not really special about them.

Not just with the games, but am sure they'd do great as home media systems as well.
Am sure both will do great and more greatness awaits for both of them :D

: Sony Argentina announced today that the PS4 will be the equivalent to one-thousand US dollars. You can pre-order one of the ten available units at launch, with a grand total of 17% of the entire catalogue at your disposal.

I doubt MS will ship that many consoles on only 13 countries vs Sony on 32.

They will both likely sell the vast majority of what is shipped. I'd bet Microsoft floods its stronger markets especially since they are in less countries overall. Hopefully this means better availability for the holiday season in regions that historically support the Xbox brand

Guess I was wrong. Apparently neither system has hit 1 million preorders. Guess whoever announced PS4 had 1 million preorders were wrong. Of course this is from August so they might be a bit higher now.

1. The difference in libraries PS4/Xbone vs WiiU is massive.
2. Not everyone has a high end PC to play multiplats.
3. The libraries are great for each system.
4. The people that will buy the initial stock are core and well informed gamers.

Yeah, I know. I still don't think either is at 1 million yet just looking at those numbers. They should be at it or over 1 million on launch day though. PS4 ahead by a couple 100K or so. Definitely not 2:1 at launch. By the end of March, both systems will probably be ahead of the Wii U if demand stays high like the Wii did.
