I remember for a short time the Xbox 360 had 'Xbox Originals' on XBLA. I think they should bring it back for the X1. Sony sells PS One and PS2 games, and Nintendo has stuff going all the way back to the NES. So, why doesn't Microsoft jump on the bandwagon? There are plenty of great Xbox games that could be made available for download.

I was just thinking to myself how stupid it is PS1 games aren't on PS4. Would totally love some original Xbox love on the One.

As far as I am aware, original Xbox and Xbox One are both x86 as well, so there isn't much stopping them from doing it either.

they won't , Xbox games where coded for an Nvidia GPU and need to be converted to work on an AMD GPU thats why there was not full BC on the 360, they had to be re-coded to work on it and still had various sound and graphics bugs.

I imagine people would be playing those classics on the Xbox One, and getting all giddy about them again. They start asking MS about making a sequel or rebooting it. And Microsoft has to go all "Yeah, it's definitely something we're looking into".

And you know, you will never see a single sequel or reboot.

Or just buy an original Xbox for $25 and get games, problem solved.

The only one I care about is Panzer Dragoon Orta, and for that I'd like it if they could ever give it an HD remake. Other than that, I don't see a need to really, I heard rumors they're making Conker's Live & Reloaded remake for Xbox One which should hopefully shut up those thinking Conker in Project Spark would've not been disappointing. We got Halo MCC, what else is there really?

I imagine they stopped after a few on the 360 because they weren't selling, I don't think most of them even sold particularly well in their OG Xbox run.

I would rather buy an old xbox on Craigslist/ flea market and play the old games that way personally, but not a bad idea.

That's actually a killer idea. Too bad they probably won't do it.

Sony should put PS1 games on PS4 as well. It's stupid-easy money.

I dont think the market is there. OG xbox is old.

I like old games, I get as nostalgic as the next man but personally Id rather see Xbox invest time and money in something else.

Its not like these older consoles are not available to purchase if you threw yours away. In fact it may offer more value for money to simple buy them rather than use a service like PSnow

Yup, those are all the possible constraints... Microsoft would've added them to the online library if it was this easy
