Those are my shop console prices in my country.

No wondering why PS4 sells much better in Europe. 167 us dollars difference... it´s huge.

No idea why Sony and Microsoft put their prices higher in Europe than in USA when shipment is almost same priced like in all other countries.

If those prices are accurate, wow. The PlayStation 4 price is bad enough; however the Xbox one is retarded. How have they sold any with that price? What are they thinking pricing them so high in Europe?

That has always been the case. I remember a PS3 game would go for 90$. One of the reasons I went PC and digital only.

Consoles are always more expensive here in Europe. Still though the Xbox One costs as much as the PS3 did at launch here in the UK. That's probably why there's still day one editions here and Zavvi have cut the price. It's got no chance against a £350 PS4.

I imagine the price difference has to do with imports and associated fees. In the US, I imagine the game is tilted to cut down on such fees as it is such a major market. Who knows, though?

Health care just isn't available to everyone doesn't mean the health care system is horrible.

Also, depends on living conditions and were you live. Unlike most countries in europe this one actually varies greatly depending on location due to it's size. So going from one spot to the next would feel like a different country already.

Reason why there isn't health care free for everyone is possible because people in here leech the shit out of everything. I'm not entirely sure how things work but if 300million people got free health care the ones that need to be see a doctor would probably take over a year or so for an appointment. Not only that from living here there's a lot of people that leech the crap out of everything weather is welfare or food stamps. You give them a hand they'll rip your whole arm apart.

Sigh...the difference in price is the VAT tax that is charged for each item that is imported..This is passed on to Mr. Consumer..Hence the higher selling price between the two markets..

And before anyone mentions that the US pays taxes as well, VAT has to be included in the stated price, which is not so in the US

In addition to...VAT is usually between 20-30%...This "usually" depends where the goods are imported from...in the USA....The state tax ranges between 3-9.5%

It's crazy how much "tax" is paid on items sold in the EU.
