Xbox One And PS4 Get Prototype 1 and 2 Bundle

So the bundle is $49.99 and you get both games , not sure if download only or physical copies.

Never finished the first Prototype, but Prototype 2 is good fun.

On topic, Activision is the first publisher that comes to my mind who will not let games go straight BC on X1. They will wring every cent they can from their games imo. I laugh at all the votes BLOPS and MW get on the xbox feedback BC wish list. Activision probably has already seen this and just plans a MW and BLOPS1&2 bundle for the X1 next.

Yup. Own them both on Steam. I hate playing the first with kb/m though. I'm getting a steam controller in Nov so that will handle that.

Same here. EA is a real mystery on the BC to me right now because Mass Effect is already on the list, and I was under the impression they were looking to do a remastered collection. That would cannibalize their own market for it. But hopefully the EA access continues with current gen titles and they let last gen go straight BC in goodwill. Activision? Not a chance. They could make a cow file sexual harassment charges with their milking.

God of War HD collection, Sly collection, Jak and Daxter collection; Halo CE anniversary, Fable anniversary on PS3 and 360 respectively.

Lets not forget the Silent Hill HD, Splinter Cell Collection, or MGS HD collection. Last gen started this when PS3 dropped BC. MS followed suit so they are by no means innocent either.

The first prototype game is boring as they found a way to make giving tanks the people's elbow boring, and I assume 2nd isn't any better. So I'll pass.

You're probably spot on.

I use a wired 360 controller. Most games are mapped to it by default.

Check out the options, but I'm guessing these games would have controller options.

Since I never played it last gen, I might consider playing this... once it goes down in price substantially, like $10 on flash sale (or sale pricing mistakes, they happen, and are honored), but until then there's easily more deserving games worthy of me forking over $50 to play.

I'm going to guess that this was planned before the BC was ever announced. That being said, these look like straight ports. Why would I want to pay $50 for two games that I can easily buy for less than $20?

It's not always accurate, some of the games I have do not list controller support even though they do like Batman Arkham City and Asylum, Dark Souls, GTA IV, Max Payne 3 and etc.

I am actually ok with this bundle.. There are very few games like Prototype, and it's two games.. Though you can get it on the pc, a shame both are REALLY shitty ports.

Some people here are trying to throw the Xbone under the bus for allowing this game on Xbone, but it's also coming to PS4 as well.

Might get if retail. Never finished the first one and never played the second one. It was actually fun but the visuals were, well... really crappy. A slight increase and I'm good to go.

I think they just ported the PC version so yeah its 1080p/60 FPS. That wont get $40, much less $50 from me. I'm not that big a stickler for resolution. Do a real anniversary make over like was done with Halo CE and 2 or spare me.

why are microsoft / sony allowing these 50-60 dollar pc ports onto to there stores?

they have the power to deny these pc ports or ask for a much lower price.

its the same game as the pc version the ps4/xb1 have same architecture as a pc so they took the pc version and just said here microsoft sony and its there job to block games like this with no work done.

but you have a 360. why not just go to your local gamestop and pick up used copys of these games for a measly $15 total, as opposed to $50..

I tried Prototype 1 once. Thought it sucked balls.
