I got my bluetooth headset for $40 and I can use it with my cell phone too. That in it's self is great to me. Things like buying AA batteries, or a charge kit for your controller adds more cost to the machine. With the PS3, it's bluetooth and charges with a USB cable on the PS3 or PC. No need for AA batteries, charge kits, etc.
I say this because I have both, and I see the positives and negatives of both machines. In my opinion, the PS3 gives you everything you need in a bundle package better than XBox. But the XBox will require you to pay for the things that the PS3 already has. It's just simple common sense.

And what about when Home comes this fall?
Given the track record, I would say if Home comes this fall.

It'll come as an Open Beta. The closed will become available to everyone. New features implemented, etc. Although, you can already do stuff like party features in the beta. The reason Sony is still calling it a beta is because they keep adding new features to it. Games will start implementing Home as a standard just like Trophies. BioShock is doing it. Warhawk has done it. Uncharted has done it. Resistance 2 is doing it I think.
I find it kinda funny that every time there's an XBL vs PSN thread, somebody gotta bring up Home. I mean last time I checked Home is optional. So I don't get why would anyone bring up something that's optional to make their inferior online service look less inferior. I could understand if Home is mandatory so everytime you turn on your PS3 you'll be in Home when you sign in PSN. But most likely that won't be the case, you still have to sign into your PSN and then sign into Home.
While when you sign into XBL, you're already there, experiencing the Xbox LIVE experience. Every game you use your Gamertag, every game have Achievements, every game have custom soundtracks, every game have voice chat, everything is mandatory with XBL. So there's no need to be wishful and hopeful, waiting and wondering if the next PS3 game will support Trophies or custom soundtracks or if you could use your PSN ID.
So everytime someone brings up Home in a XBL vs PSN thread, that just makes PSN look more inferior.

But LIVE isnt LIVE without the "optional" $50 either....
if you're going to denounce anything that is optional, we might as well say LIVE doesnt have online play.
