Xbox Live down | EDIT: Service back up

It's been down a few hours. And yeah yeah "no need to post about it every time it happens" But this is too much. It's almost a weekly deal now, it has been going on WAY too often which is really getting annoying especially if you are trying to get some game time on your down time.

Weekly? Uh, not on my end.

It definitely is. Since late last year it has been going down on Xbox One at least once or twice a month. The last month it has definitely been going down often although not for extended periods. Should be mentioned that Xbox 360 is fine and the issues are only on XBO

still online on my end.

Taken down by Microsoft, not a hack. 360 was worked on first and now THE ONE.

They may have done something last minute to prevent a hack or something along those lines.

They have our back. Porn still works on the PC.

I've noticed these things go down across the machines and XBL has been spotty sometimes. It happens.

Of course, I use this time to tackle the backlog.

Yeah if you're online and where online before the issues you're fine just don't sign out I made the mistake of resetting my Xbox since party chat wasn't working and when it turned back on it wouldn't sign in. That was about two hours ago.

Yea. I couldn't sign in today and wanted to get a few rounds of titanfall and sunset overdrive in tonight. Sadly that won't happen. By the way, Sunset Overdrive's chaos squad is pure mayhem and I love it. Easily one of the more enjoyable games online in my opinion.

Both XBL and PSN have been a disappointment this gen...the more money they get from us the less they try.

@_SWAG_: really man. Can you even say that with a straight face. PSN has had more issues than XBL and I own both systems and pay for both services. Both services are a disgrace at this point considering that we pay for it.

Update. Just reconnected about a minute ago. Seems the service is coming back up.

@sirk1264: Yeah, it took a while but at least its now up.

i've only had xbl go down for me twice. on christmas and today and both times it came back up relatively quickly. its been pretty reliable otherwise, definitely better than psn has been.

The problem concerned not being not able to log into Xbox Live or being connected there at all, but buying things, so redeem code function wasn't active and it pissed me off massively since I just got a Dying Light review copy and I couldn't queue the frigging game. I've just got up (at 5:30am) to boot the console and queue it and I'm heading to the land of nod again.

haven't experienced any problems with the service.

Wow, people actually pay for this garbage service? To think lems were hyping up those dedicated servers not too long ago.
