XB1: Recore and Sea of Thieves not at Gamescom

Well that's abit fo a shock. SoT i can understand, but recore being a Spring 2016 title with only a CGI trailer and no gameplay at GC?

Wow Sony has no presence and Microsoft still manages to screw it up. What the hell are they gonna show at Gamescom? More PC games they moneyhatted?

No gameplay at E3 and no showing at Gamescom wtf is this.

Both MS and Sony needs to stop showing games so early. they better not disappoint with Scalebound and Quantum Break.

I'm just going to assume that MS is just going to show the games that wasn't shown at E3 and just wanted to get the one's like Scalebound and Quantum Break for showing since those 2 didn't make it to E3. That said, I wasn't really expecting ReCore and Sea of Thieves to be there anyways. What about Crackdown 3?

Germany won't rate the Gears games , so they are almost banned there , which means no Gears HD and Gears 4 too.

So QB and Scalebound will be there. Kinda weird that Recore is a no show since it's scheduled for early 2016.

I agree that Sony and MS need to stop showing games so early. QB was the first X1 game I saw and still very few real details about it, just tidbits of info. Same with Scalebound except that one we've seen no gameplay of. Same thing with Crackdown. Are any of these games launching in 2015-16, or will they be pushed to 2017. I could see it happening with the few details we have on the games.

It's the same, or worse with Sony. The Last Guardian is all I need to say.

More smoke and mirrors from the MS camp. Are lemmings not tired of this? This is another thing I heard xbox fans criticize Sony for last gen that MS are currently running into the ground now.

Recore's developers have me pretty worried after their Batman Blackgate game sucked. I want it to be good, but with a single CGI trailer and a sketchy history, I'm not talking it up and I can see why M$ isn't either.

No surprise from me. Both of those games were just announced. The developers do need time to work.

Sea of Thieves looks like a far away project, and spring 2016 always seemed off. At earliest I think that game is a summer 2016 game, so that's fine.

As long as it is a delay and a not Phantom Dust not-cancel cancel job.

More interested in seeing QB and Scalebound anyway. More Recore would be cool but oh well. Sea of Thieves didn't look too exciting

Yea, Im pumped to see what Recore is but I've been wanting to know what Scalebound is since last year. That trailer was pretty crazy

My post to the TC is about one of the two games in the title, Recore:

I simply spoke about my position with the developer of an upcoming game, just like I did about Supermassive's Until Dawn for PS4 (another sketchy developer).

I'm sure Remedy will be showing Quantum Break for years. Quantum Break has already been touted since May 2013, over two years ago. I waited over five years for Alan Wake and hyped AW for years only to find that while AW was decent, it wasn't mindblowing as I'd hoped (big boy Luigi's Mansion meets Max Payne). Remedy loves their time stopping/shooting games, but I'll be buying Quantum when it finally releases.

Geeez, we didn't even know about these games until like a month ago and we got to see real game-play for SoT to boot. I will say, 2016 sounds too soon for Recore, let that bad boy bake as long as it takes for a great game.

After an anaemic E3 and all this hype, it sure is.

Nothing odd about it. If they are 2016 games (and late 2016 games at that) they really don't need two consecutive early demos/showings. MS might as well use that space for other games since these will get their spotlight in 2016 ( I assume they will at least).

The Last Guardian has shown gameplay though? A game being delayed isn't the same as only showing CGI, so I doubt you burned anything with that reply.

Isn't Recore releasing next year in spring? Its either getting delayed or it isnt really a big title because phil said the game has been in development for 14 months so I can't see them releasing it next year and AAA titles take at least 4 years to make.

Why is anyone surprised at this? They just announced the game at E3 so I'm sure they still early in development. They have gamescom to themselves so they can hold off on some games, I mean look at their lineup of games they going to show anyways lol. They have gamescom locked up this year.

Sea of Thieves looks like a cheap F2P game. Why is anybody hyping it again?

Recore is Spring 2016. It's 10 months away at best, if that's true.

If it's a AAA level title, and MS doesn't do another conference this year, i can't see where they'd show it off.

Most games are coded in German , just like Itali , but not the Gears games because they won't give them a rating.
