I like watching B Rated movies.....
The effects look great in my opinion, why it's because theirs no shadows?

"Halo looks like a b rated movie that you'd find on the sci fi channel" those were your exact words now don't try to say that that wasn't bashing halo.
just wow. the effects look like a b rated movie that you would see on Sci Fi Channel. what are your thoughts? http://www.gametrailers.com/player/24179.htmlmazdaspeed-rx8
wow, wtf was that? is that the halo 3 movie? That was the sh**iest use of camera movement i have ever seen, and yes, it looks like something ud see on the the sci-fi channel.

Thats not the Halo movie its just a bunch of shorts used to promote Halo 3I really hope you understand that these videos we've been seeing aren't anything close to what the movie could end up being.
I'm pretty sure that Neil Blomkamp guy is doing this on his own with low budget to try and get interest gathered in the Halo movie so it can actually get made.
I really don't see how this has anything to do with system wars anyway since this is for a movie based on a game, and doesn't involve consoles or Halo 3.

I thought Combat was well done, much better then Arms Race.
Combat is now my favorite Blomkamp film next to Yellow and Live in Joburg.
I think that was badass. Heck; it's a short. It's two minutes long. They release them on the internet for free. Do you want million-dollar budgets and massive special effects with a cast of hundreds?
Then again you do love to randomly hate on this game whenever possible...

You should stick to research before you openly bash something. Bungie isn't making the videos, Neill Blomkamp and WETA are producing these shorts.

I thought he meant the game and the video didn't even look bad, seriously for a low budget commercial that was badass.
...Dude, that was probably the freaking POINT. And still, I thought it looked quite good. Got me pumped for the game. These vids were simply fan-service.Verge_6
Mazda wasn't being serious :P
LMAO! I was thinking the same thing. Footage like that in a game makes the real-time graphics look cheezy. Cinematics should always have similar enough graphics to the prerendered or real-time graphics, or essentially the same, except for RPGs.iMacBotComing from a guy hyping Killzone 2? yeah...no wonder why you bash the better game Halo 3.

It's not a cinematic....

Err...aahh....that is a short film unrealated to Halo 3. :? The only reason it is Halo is because Blomkamp is the director of the Halo movie.
I got mixed feelings. It doesn't have any art direction up to now, but that could be because of the setting.
I thought it started out rather like a B-Movie, but the warthog drop transitions looked believable. The driving needs another take man, it went too slow and looked like it handled badly. I don't think anything else deserved reckognition; the shootouts looked pretty average, but not bad at that, just average.
I don't remember the last time some kind of movie didn't flop.
First off, that is not an in game cinematic. Second, that is not what WETA was working on. That trailer is basically like a demo tape for movie studios. Before an actual movie is shot producers will sometimes shoot a stripped down clip to give the studios an idea of what the producers intend to make. These clips are in no way an indication of the quality of the actual movie, they exist simply to give examples of various takes on movie plots while in pre-production.
People really began to care about what you said when you first landed foot on System wars.
Oh wait, now you're gonna post a pic of your 360 with a message on it.:|

You are right this isnt SW worthy, but the film is probably going to look like that, why would they waste budget on a promo thatdoesnt even relate to the movie. I think when they released that we were supposed to be impressed, so now you really shouldnt get your hopes up; most people here are already expecting a higher quality.

That is a very stupid remark to make, especially when Killzone 2 isn't coming out for a very long time. I support the halo series, not really a fan, I just enjoy playing their games, but killzone 2 looks great as well. As for the video, I'm really happy that wasn't the movie, because that resembled more power rangers than halo...they should use CGI to make the movie...that'd be much better. Personally the movie didn't pump me up at all about the game, it disgusted me, or embarassed would be a better word. This is my own opinion, so you people have no reason what so ever to flame me.
