Would an MH home console exclusive on NX (if NX is.is also a home console) become comparable to Souls/Borne in popularity if N and Capcom would keep at it?

Can't make a poll again (500 error). Would've used my usual options of;

Definitely, Probably, Maybe, Unlikely and Nope.

No, because people would still rather play it on portables, or the PC MMOs.

2 completely different type of games, from where is this comparison coming from? MH is heavy in Japan, but it doesn't have much following in the west and Japan public prefers Portable consoles by a large margin. This is why the last MH on home consoles failed miserably. MH is a Portable Console series now.

Souls/Borne is the complete opposite, it has nothing to do on portables and it's heavily on Consoles, with some following on PC.

MH on console has been pretty much exclusive to Wii\Wii U and it didn't matter (if we forget the PSP port on the PS3)

I see.

Was wondering if N/Cap could expand on MH like closer to the open-ness of Borne/Souls with comparable MP (summoning for a party). Maybe even have higher budget touches like cinematics and story but not really compromise the raw gameplay.

I wonder how MH4U is doing in the West (non rhetorical).
