I was just thinking about this and was wondering what you guys thought?
Right now, Chrono Phantasma has the old songs and stages locked on discs, I was okay with buying it if it wasn't a lot......it's $16.00.

Capcom having paid DLC characters on the disc for SFxT is the worst I've seen in recent memory.
crapcon was the king of on disc DLC!
I boycotted them for a while because of it, First game i bought from them in years was dead rising 3
Just wrong on so many levels...
Wasn't there a game that had the ending as DLC? I think I remember reading that around here but can't recall what game it was.

Asura's Wrath. Another Crapcom gem.
That's right I remember now. I was mildly interested in it but quickly forgot about it once I read that.
@inb4uall: Nah, I was thinking of Asura's Wrath. Although ME3 really did have that crappy ending that was "fixed" with the DLC

Its a shame too because I heard it was a pretty entertaining game. Thats one of the reasons it turned me off too.
The Horse armor was overpriced, but also unnecessary to the game, so ultimately avoidable.
But the Prothean DLC in ME3? I mean having a character who's back story is so integral to the lore kept separate from the standard package was a real douche move by EA.

Agreed, good thing Bioware has promised no DLC party members this gen for story-heavy games.
Tales of Xillia ($5 ) to increase 10 levels.. while its completely unnecessary and achievable via grinding i ended up buying one because grinding took too long and i wanted to beat the boss so bad... lol

To be hoenst thats really not that bad. Sicne as you said you can reach it yourself. I find when they keep dlc thats the ending to a game to be a insult. I loved Asuras Wrath but they made you pay for the final chapter 7 bucks I beleive. It wasint like the game ended with credits and all it was literally a To Be continued shot WTH. I never saw it go down in price so in order to get my awesome ending I had to put out 7 more bucks. Now thats a freaking scam.
So much these days, though at times it has been worse:
If anything that makes me not pre-order the game and I'd rather wait for the inevitable 'complete' edition
We've seen less of on-disc DLC and more microtransactions... sigh.
Asking money for Season passes not telling what ya get is just so wrong. And that's normal these days.
I played Mass Effect From Ashes gave a character that was with ya the entire game. Had dialogue and everything. Did they take it out last minute?

Ohh, this. To date, that STILL pisses me off and is part of the the reason I haven't bothered with buying that game (and I was really looking forward to it). Funny, back then, I wasn't into Mass Effect (ME2/ME3 came out the same days as TvC/SFxT respectively) and I cared more about Capcom's fighters since I had more interest in those (I was anticipating TvsC more than ME2), but now I'm more inclined to finish the ME trilogy, WITH all the DLC, than buy Street Fighter X Tekken, even though a year after ME3 released, I put EA deep in my s***list (SimCity).
2012 may not have been a good year for Mass Effect and Capcom fighting fans, but at least BioWare tried to redeem themselves for their mess. Can NOT say the same for Capcom.
