Wolfenstein new order or Doom? which is better reboot from bathesda?

Close call, both great games but the New Order can't match RTCW, and DOOM feels better then DOOM 3, so I go with DOOM

Wolfenstein was amazing. Doom is still sitting on my shelf unopened, havent had a chance to start it yet.

WTNO + OB > DOOM 2016 > DEUS EX MD > SHADOW WARRIOR 2

New Doom was most over rated trash ever.

Lost Interest at about Level 4.

So repetitive, so uninspired, so dull.

Doom 4 is an excellent game, New Order is a good one.

I haven't played Wolfenstein the New Order, but I'm playing Doom right now and it's excellent

RTCW was incredible, incredible game. outside of stealth parts.

I'm a massive RtCW fan, I spent years playing the multiplayer with a clan. To me Wolfenstein New Order is a mere shadow of the greatness that came before.

Doom is a better game.

I'm gonna go with Wolfenstein. Amazing reboot, especially when it had to restart the franchise after the terror that was Wolfenstein 2009...

Eh. Not been too impressed with Doom. By virtue of "you can play it", beats New Order.

Very unbalanced weapons and the glory kills get boring.

RTCW stellar AI weapons, level design, pacing, secrets, atmosphere, sexy Nazi's and and Heinrich Himmler cameo.

Poo stealth which is barely in it, bit bullet spongy enemies and poor bosses (all 2 of them) are really the only blemish in one of the last true old school games designed for proper pc gamers.

The New Order, I thought its premise was pretty original and it had better pacing and more gameplay variety.

DOOM has a great combat system and I am especially fond of the movement, but I also found it pretty repetitive in its environments and encounter design. Too many fights where it just throws everything at you with available ammo for everything, I kinda wish they had levels with only certain ammo types or enemy types to mix things up. Still haven't finished it and not sure that I will.

both games have good combat but If I just want to kill shit, I find Killing Floor 2 more satisfying than either. The New Order was more interesting in the ways surrounding the combat.

I honestly cannot decide, both these two titles are possibly the best FPS games I've played and I've played a lot of FPS...

My most memorable moment in TNO was realizing I could disable the shitty film grain.

Doom was fun on PS4, but I bought a new PC and knew Doom would be 10x better on it.

It is. What a fun fucking game.

I beat Doom 3 times in row. I couldnot even bother to beat new order once. its really abysmal game.

Both are good games but I thought Doom 2016 was overall better in all categories. Wolfenstein got a little uninteresting for me towards the end.

Haven't played Doom, but I found wolf tno + the old blood to be just average.

Shadow warrior is better game. well apart from shitty shadow realm parts.

Game is like some try hard attempt at "hur durr hardcore shooter" and then proceeds to play like monkey shit. It's like the concept of game feel means nothing to people.

Wolfenstein's shooting mechanics were fun as hell, DOOM had that and had a great melee system to boot.

But overall I like Wolfenstein's setting way more, I really looked forward to seeing a 1960 where the Nazis had won the war, and the game did not disappoint.

none of which new order has. shadow warrior is really good. if its not Doom or FEAR or RTCW.

Very cliche to the point that, if a woman exists, she must be love interest.

Cool things about Wesely Snipes evocative masterpiece Blade (best vampire movie ever) female with breasts just useful friend and Wesley Snipes doesn't attempt sex nor show any sign of love, useful ally, nothing more.

Unfortunately this movie too mature for video game that think it's Schindler's List.

DOOM is bland game with repititive enemies. No story. Just fast paced and mindless fun like old school shooter . Only replaybility about the game is tons of upgrades ( Stats to Weapon ). WTNO had a solid WW II alternate story, character (B.J) and had replaybility.

DOOM 2016 is overrated , hyped much by SNIPER4321.

I'd take DOOM 3, WTNO, RTCW anyday over DOOM 2016.

Both of them are awesome games and very good reboots...................i like them both.

I prefer DOOM. But it's hard to go wrong with either.

As for the future of each franchise, I think Wolfenstein has much more to work with.

That's like being the most likable member of Al Qaeda sunshine, not exactly a highlight.

To me Doom takes the win here, it's a damn good game in almost every single respect.
