Wolf Among Us is getting a retail version

It's getting a retail version for PS3, 360, X1 and PS4. THere is no release date yet, but it will be released this year. Most likely in the fall.

I might just pick that up instead of buying the new episodes. Or I might not bother at all, since I don't know if I wanna get invested in another one of these episodic deals.

i just finished it, awesome games. I would recomend them

I only played the first episode because it was free, but haven't bothered getting the rest. It was good though. I might just delete that from my hard drive, and wait for this to release.

I would say it would be wise to do so. Doesn't matter which version you get. Just get it :P

I hope they have another season. I enjoyed it.

It was great. Played it couple of days ago on the PC, I waited till every episode was out. Dat cliffhanger tough.

How is this game? Does it play like Walking Dead?

I've heard good things about this game; don't like the episodic releases though. I'd prefer a full, digital version.

Good. i was going to buy it from steam but i'd much rather own a physical copy.

Just buy it on Steam Sale, you can get it for like $7.50 most sales from now on for all the episodes.

Meh, it seems to be much shorter. And there is no challenge whatsoever. In Walking Dead they at least try to add some puzzles so that you don't know how to proceed right away. Like getting the train running or stuff like that. Wolf Among Us offers nothing of that sort. You can breeze right through it. Probably that's why it feels so short. Finished the last episode in like an hour. The setting is super awesome but all it all it feels much less epic.

yeah i made a thread a few weeks ago, it is coming this fall aswell

It was such a wonderful ride, even through it probably could have use more time to flesh out some things more. Push me more into the comics too which is a really nice series (even through it made me notice a couple glaring issues with Wolf Among Us lol).

One is that to Bigby, Snow has a special scent that he can't get rid of even when he smokes (that he does so to block a lot of the scent from everywhere), and can even know where she is and how she feeling (in the city limits at least). With that in mind he should have been able to realize that she was still alive when he thought she was "dead."

I wonder if it runs as terribly as TWD retail version. Also does anyone know if this game has as many game breaking bugs as TWD?

Ah, I completely forgot about that. You have to realize though that most of the things game Bigby faces or get challenged by in the game would be a piece of cake for comic Bigby. Whether it's the issue you mentioned, or people sneaking up on him and things like that. So I understand why they chose to tone down his senses in the game.

Yeah I understand that they have to tone down some things with bigby, and really most of that I just went whatever, but I guess that one bugged me a bit, because he went so into depth with it when he reveal that to snow.XD Man was that awkward scene. But overall when I gotten into the comic officially when this game was midway through, it didn't really hinder my enjoyment that much. Rather focus on some other flaws that could hinder it more.
