I hate WoW, but this cinematic was just fucking awesome. Not just the gfx, music, action...but the actual events going on if you played Warcraft1-3.

I hear the WarCraft movie being directed by Duncan Jones (AAA director) is going to be like this but for 2 hours.

Great cinematic as usual, but honestly it has me more hyped for the movie than the expansion (which i've already purchased, months ago).

I just got back into wow pre purchased expansion and level boosted a character. I am hyped to get back into wow. My wife on the other isn't as excited for me. Lol

Loved Wings of Liberty . My 3rd most favorite game of last gen . Such a masterpiece .

Amazing cinematic, and definitely my favorite--even better than WOTLK's, I'd say. It was just perfect.

But a launch date of November 13th... ugh. It's pretty shitty that it will have been nearly a year and three months between the release of 5.4. Absolutely no new content in more than a year.

Also, not to go off on a tangent, but as someone who's in the HoTS alpha it doesn't strike me as anything spectacular, especially compared to DOTA 2 or even League. It'll be the ideal game for Blizzard fans or those who want a MOBA where matches are relatively short, but in my opinion it's not going to be the standard of the MOBA genre like the rest of Blizzard's games are for their respective genres.

It blows me away how much better Blizzard's cinematics are not just in video games, but really all CGI entertainment.

Imagine a full 90-120 minute movie of this kind of quality (with a good story/acting of course).

I never managed to like WoW, but I always adored Blizzard's cinematics. That's why I can't wait for the WoW movie.

Square Enix can hold its own regarding cg work/cinematics. Love Realm Reborn intro. Hell, crappy old Spirits Within still looks better than a lot of much newer and even current cg cinematics.

The theme, the music, the art, the cgi, the story behind it, the epicness......the MoP cinematic opener was a huge filler joke in comparison...

Thematically MOP had fairly mature themes by World Of Warcrafts standards.

The entire plot line of MOP is probably the most mature of any Blizzard game to date which has mostly been immature ultra monsters.

Why do I always try WoW again after every expansion?!

I KNOW that I will get bored within a few days when I realize it's just a theme park and nothing will always be there to return to and you cannot do anything unique because there are 100 million people who have been there before you. Oh and then the worst of it all: Everyone is now an expert and you need to study every raid and high level dungeon before you even try them. Which groups to pull and what they do and all that crap. I just casually want to play that game, not study on it. Same problem as LoL. Oh and then the old ass skill system in which you get 80 skills per cIass that are a nightmare to memorize.

Wait. I said I wanted to play, that's not true. It's pointless. Maybe I should hide my wallet...

On topic, Blizzard has always IMO made THE best CGI cinematics in the gaming industry.

Jesus tits that cinematic was badass. And I just started replaying Warcraft 3 the other day. Gonna play 2 again as well. I love the demons in Orcs & Humans, but that game is just too damn slow for me anymore. The movie damn well better be like this. It should seriously be animated by Blizzard's own guys who do the game cinematics. It has to be.

Too bad the game itself looks like shit. Why doesn't it have teh awesomez grafix!? Because PC is holding back PC! Give us games that don't have to run properly on grandma's 15 years old PC, Blizzard!!1

Anyway, I skipped Mists of Pandaria so I doubt this will get me back into WoW. It was a good run and the MMO I spent the most time with by far but it's just enough now.

Game doesn't look that bad... 720p screenshot on mid/low settings, looks so blurry. On my 1440p monitor running on ultra the game actually looks pretty awesome.

WoW does have bad gfx, but the artistry and art-style is one of the best in the industry.

Blizz aren't really into gfx, i doubt Titan (or whatever their new MMO is called) will have good gfx either.

It is awesome, the story idea is stupid though.

It actually costs a crap load of money to use CGI in movies and having a movie solely be made in CGI would cost hundreds of millions. The Final Fantasy movie Spirits Within cost a good 137 million back in 2001.

Yeah i feel like they are constantly stalling with WoD and MoP, I want the meat and potatoes not this side-filler crap.

Get on with the real story, lets face the real big bads of the Warcraft Universe..... like Sargeras.

I think Blizzard talked about how Wrathion is letting Garrosh go back in time to Draenor so he can build up the Iron Horde and bring them to current-day Azeroth, so we can prepare for the impending Burning Legion invasion in our current timeline. Maybe the next expansion will be about the Burning Legion.

The production values are high. But the quality of the writing was low.

Overall, I found it boring.

Of course, Grom Hellscream is a BAMF.

That was pretty damn awesome, i love Blizzard cut scenes, i still remember the first time i saw the Starcraft intro, pure epicness. Sadly, at the end of the day, this makes me sad because...well, no Warcraft 4 :(
