Witcher 3 X1 footage leaks *720p*

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt doesn't officially launch until May 19, but footage from the Xbox One version of the game has appeared online. According to a report by VGLeaks, a retailer in United Arab Emirates has broken the game's street date, which has led to gameplay videos being uploaded. The videos in question can be viewed on VGLeaks.

The footage is posted in 720p, although developer CD Projekt Red has assured that the final Xbox Oneversion of the game will run in 900p and 30 frames-per-second. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will run in 1080p and 30 frames-per-second on the PlayStation 4. If you're looking to grab the game on PC, check out itsminimum requirements first.

Game looks very good, even in 720p. I'll be getting this on PC though, the best version available. If I would have to choose another platform, I would go with PS4. But like I said, X1 looks great too.

Its 720p because thats what the x1 video capture res is. From what Ive seen, it looks excellent on the x1. Ill get it for PC down the line though.

The xbox one dvr maxes out at 720P from what I heard. Witcher 3 on the xbox one runs at 900P.

@SolidGame_basic: The video GS posted in the article is actually a 1080P-60fps video. The one on the linked site is a 720P video. The actually XB1 game is 900P. The Witcher 3 games was downgraded anyways. Doesn't look like that 2013 trailers that were shown.

The 720p bit had no reason to be part of the headline. In the article, yes but not the title because it is misleading hence it being a click bait.

Its click bait because it doesn't say the video is 720p in the title. The resolution is worded that way to make it seem as if the X1 version is indeed in 720p rather than the 900p it is in.

I didn't bring PC up shit for brains, the TC said he's getting it on PC in the opening post. I merely agreed because my copy is paid for and was cheapest on PC. You Fail.

Can you link us to this official definition of click bait? With how hard cows go on resolution between X1 and PS4, and the fact that Witcher was said to be 900p on X1, the wording of the title is bait to get people clicking to find out if the X1 version was down graded. It's click bait.

It turns out the Xbox One version will be 900p with scaling up to 1080p in certain circumstances. I'm sure they will get it up to complete 1080p in a future update.

The title is worded nearly the same way the link is worded. The TC didn't try to hide anything and fully explained that devs intend to have retail version 900p upon release, an addition he didn't even need to make if we he was really trying to mislead people I might add.
