lol of course there will be one... it probably cost nintendo a few thousand dollars to dev and its the best selling Wii game in Japan and it has skyrocketed the Wii to fame as a pack in in NA and Europe. It's made them about a gazillion dollars.
no. Halo 3 will be one hard game to top. same with MGS4, GTA 4, smash bros. brawl, those games will all destroy a wii sports 2 in sales. also i dont think they are making a wii sports 2.

It's the kind of game that sells based on its name. Wouldn't be by much though. Brawl on the other hand.. has a good chance :D

SSBB will outsell mario galaxyI disagree, I know Smash Brothers outsold Mario Sunshine last gen but Mario Galaxy is no sunshine. Despite the positive press, I think Galaxy is not only the most under-estimated game on the Wii, but of all systems. I really think it has a shot at going down in the books as one of the greats. It just has something about it that I think will captivate the World, particularly all these new gamers and casuals being attracted to the Wii. I think the old Mario Magic is back. We'll see though, of course I could be completely wrong.

Japan is a good indicator because they love the wii soo much, and i bet everyone would get wii sports 2 because they would want more. Wii sports was bundled with wii because it attracted the casuals and anyone who has a wii would be crazy not to buy it, hence why wii sports is selling big in japan on its own.
in my opinion there isn't a chance someone would pay for wii sports 2...
 and it will not outsell halo 3 which is gonna be a great game no matter what people say and metal gear solid because that too will be a great game no matter what people say....
wii sports has already been done, what could they do now in wii sports 2..... add a couple of new sports..........Â
they are amking a wii sports 2 BTW, haven't you ever seen that video for the airplane game? i can find the video...anyway...i think in America it would easily outsell pretty much anything. EVERY Wii owner right now owns wii Sports, and it's HUGE...a sequel would of course sell by the truck loads...common sense really...
If you count all the bundled in Wii Sports, then Wii Sports most likely already sold somewhere around 5 million worldwide.
MGS series isn't known for selling massively compare to games like GTA, etc.
The best selling games out of XBox 360 and PS3 this year are going to be GTA4 and Halo 3. But do people realize that unless Nintendo decided to stopp with the bundled in games (no reason to), at this pace, Wii Sports is going to sell at least 8 to 9 million copies (possibly even more), before either GTA or Halo comes out? The scary thing is, Wii Sports will probably keep on selling well into next year. Right now, Wii Sports IS the game to beat, in terms of popularity and sales.

There are going to be many games one the Wii that will sell in great amounts. Wiisports 2 with a much more in depth selection of games would easily outsell most "normal" games. The install base of the Wii will be the deciding factor in this mind you.
