will there ever be a kingdom hearts 3 and will the series return to home console

there have been a lot of king dom hearts games that have been made since kingdom hearts 2 was made. none of them are kingdome hearts 3. are they done numbering the games? also all the recent games have been on handhelds, is the series going to stay on handhelds and not going to be made for consoles?

Yes its already been announced I think a while back that they are indeed working on KH3!!

But I am getting tired of all the handheld versions... Im dieng for a LONG good old KH3 action with sora.

I've heard that Nomura has said that after FFXIII Versus is finished then he would focus on KH3. I'm guessing it will be on PS3 and stay exclusive. Nomura has so much love for PS3 he has said that in an interview. ;)

I've heard that Nomura has said that after FFXIII Versus is finished then he would focus on KH3. I'm guessing it will be on PS3 and stay exclusive. Nomura has so much love for PS3 he has said that in an interview. ;)

Development will start soon on KH3 for PS4 to be released on 2016. SE says concept art and story have been worked on but need more refinements. 2016 is the optimal date but it could be delayed. themyth01
