Or will it be destined to only releasing B+ players like Halo 5 and Forza 6?

@clyde46: PS4 has the most games realeased for it by far out of the 8th gen systems tho
And almost all of them are re-releases of games already on PS3 or Xbox 360, at least the ones that contribute to the difference in number of games between Xbox One and PS4.
Or will it be destined to only releasing B+ players like Halo 5 and Forza 6?
You do realise that the poorly reviewed Driveclub has sold just as many copies (2 million) as your saviour Bloodborne right?
So in the end a 90+ score means literally nothing.
Didn't we see a topic like this already asking the same thing lol. Do you'll fanboys regurgitate and recycle the same troll titles over and over and over again lol.?
Xbox has never had that many 90+ metacritic exclusives outside of Halo Gears and Forza. But I think Scalebound has the biggest chance of everything that's coming. I can see everything else getting from low to high 80's MC.
Wow I see another day that cows are insecure about the lack of games offered by Sony. Don't worry, you will make it through this Holiday.
Scalebound has a shot imo, Halo's not going to hit those levels again and i've got little faith in Forza or Gears.
Well there is Quantum Break, Scalebound, and Crackdown coming, so there is potential for your little meta score agenda.
Just a little FYI though if I see a game I know I want to play, I play that game one way or another, whether purchase or rent. A review score doesn't deter me. Just the same a game like "Flower" that's been praised all around hasn't made me want to play that. Review scores don't matter personal tastes do.
Same goes for movies ;)
I'd rather have consistent 80+ quality releases than an oddball single 90+ mixed with a bunch of 60's, 70's and 80's.
You cows are really trying to ride this Bloodborne thing too much.
please explain the difference between 80's and 80+... I'm curious to know about what differenciate them so much
If that was a jab at the PS4 (and it sounds like it is), then have in mind the PS4 has plenty of 80s and 80+ games on meta. Just because some of the most marketed and hyped games on PS4 didnt meet expectations that doesnt mean others (not hyped as much) do not exist...
Well there is Quantum Break, Scalebound, and Crackdown coming, so there is potential for your little meta score agenda.
QB and Scalebound have potencial but you're delusional if you think Crackdown 3 has any chance of getting 90+ on meta when it has been an average at best franchise so far with Crackdown with a 83 score and Crackdown 2 with a 70.
No. Nothing announced has much of a chance. Both Quantum Break and Scalebound look like 80 to 85 games.
LMAO at Crackdown 3 being mentioned as a potential critical darling. Do we even know who is developing that shit?
Lems know they have no great games. As long as it involves a gun it's great to them.
@Vatusus: The first Crackdown was amazing. A new IP sitting at an 83 on metcritic is pretty damn good. Crackdown 2 was complete fail.
If MS and the devs can pull off this cloud destruction stuff and capture what made the first Crackdown so great it could most definitely be 90+ reviewed game.

I highly HIGHLY doubt it, but we'll see...
So if a game scores an average of 85 then there's no way it can be as enjoyable as a game that scores a 90 average lol. Fanboys love to play numbers rather than games.
I doubt that will happen anytime soon, but the fact is higher score doesn't mean better game. Thief 2: The Metal Age is rated lower than The Dark Project but it's superior stealth game than TDP.
MGS V on Xbox One is also rated 95, higher than PS4 and PC version even though it's worse on Xbox One.
And I highly doubt that Quantum Break will get 90+ MC, but it won't stop it from being an awesome game just like previous games made by Remedy.

To be frank, playing a game that didn't score above a 90 hurts my enjoyment. It's always in the back of my mind while I'm playing the game.
On topic: I do not believe Xbox ONE will ever have an exclusive that scores above a 90. Their first-parties are mediocre at best and the third parties that make 90+ games are too expensive to be bought out. Microsoft isn't going to be spending much money on a division that's bleeding money and has no prospects for a successful future. MS couldn't even buy full exclusivity for TR, and that's not really a big-seller or a great game. I bet the PlayStation division gets more funding than the Xbox division these days.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The score of a game is ruining the enjoyment of the game for you LMAO? That's just asinine.
The real question is why does Metacritic matter? Do you adore others opinions about games THAT much? Is that how you decide to purchase a game or not? If so, you only have 1 game to play lol. Lets stop counting PS3 games that were ported over. If that counts, than so should Ori. It scored a 9 here.
Too busy playing games on it for me to care. Believe it or not, you can have a blast with titles that don't have a 90+ MC rating.
@BigShotSmoov007:I think it happens to most people in games, movies, shows, etc.
I couldn't enjoy the Man Of Steel movie because it got mediocre reviews.
Right now, I only buy 90+ meta games. Sometimes, I buy 85-90 meta games if they join the bargain bin (<$20). I'll pick-up Fallout 4 in 3+ years when it comes down to $15.
Don't even look at games scoring < 85.
I just can't enjoy playing a sub-90 game after paying $60+ for it, because I feel ripped-off paying a large amount for a B-tier game. I paid $60 for Halo 4 when it came out and I felt sick after playing for an hour. The game was horrible (True to its 87 meta) and I felt so mad paying that much for a mediocre game.
I think games should have their starting prices match their meta scores. That means only SONY exclusives should have a $60+ pricetag because you're paying for supreme quality. Microsoft should lower their exclusive prices to $30.

Like I said, asinine..... There is no reason for a games score to ruin a game if you want it and want to play it, NONE!!!!

Me too ! you actually forgot to mention remaster after remaster my friend.

All this right here? Dumbest thing I've read this week.
