...do you know what a curse is? If you start getting fat because you're eating cake that's not a curse. There's a direct causation between Crytek as a company and their game quality, they didn't suddenly start making bad games because their offices got burnt down or something.

Crysis 2 was treated too well.

I have a feeling that Ryse will will get overrated too, but who knows?

DR3 got away with consistently bad framerates and pop-in, not to mention it's graphics also seem to have gone unscrutinized.

Call me a fanboy, but it's courtesy of GS' review, rather than my opinion.

Probably not, since Ryse is on consoles and seems terrible.

I'd be incredibly surprised if it gets anything above a 5. I fully expect it to get a 3/10 here. It legitimately looks abysmal. People getting a One should be placing their hype in Dead Rising and Forza, not this travesty.

I'm guessing a 6 tops, simply because previews were so widely negative and previews tend to let the good sides of the shittiest of games come out.

If you can't even be given a nice preview, the actual critical examination of a review is going to get you slaughtered. The fact that MS have embargoed reviews for after the Xbone launches also demonstrates that they dont have that much faith in it doing too well.

Besides, let's be honest, for all the graphical prettiness the gameplay looked like garbage from day one.

I said 8 before but that's wildly optimistic. It seems to me that standards are a little higher compared to the 7th gen launches. I'll go with 7.

This one I hyped AA because I think for Ryse, that is rolling the dice. Prolly a 6-7 but Im Mr. Vegas folks.

Hopefully the game bombs hard and Crytek stops trying to put their engine on closed platforms. They made the greatest FPS ever in Far Cry, and I would love for them to start making good games again.

I think SW's flop system is flawed. You have those that like a game but vote it low, then brag how it exceeded the expectations and haters that give 10 so they can claim the game flopped.

What didn't you like about Warhead?

I haven't played it in a couple of years, and I tend to not remember games I didn't enjoy.

All I can say is that, in my book, Crysis and Crysis 2 are much better than Warhead.

Warhead was pretty great,certainly better than the sequels.

Crytek needs to stop trying to be DICE and just focus on pure gameplay and story.

Crytek wants to sell their ENGINE, more than this one game. But DICE's Frostbyte is way more developer friendly than the CryEngine ever will be.
