Always nice to see stuff like this:

http://automaton.am/articles/news-bits/wiinusoft-allows-pro-controllers-pc-steam-friendly/

Personally I prefer the Xbox One controller myself given that most in-game button prompts are Xbox style, the flatter, more responsive d-pad and lower chance of hitting the guide button when trying to access Start/Back are improvements (over the 360 controller) in my opinion. That said, I know some people absolutely swear by Wii U Pro's unconventional ergonomics.

@ShepardCommandr:

I prefer the 360, ps4, and wiiupro a lot more.

I still really like it, just not as much as those.

Now if they can port Wiimote and Nunchuck to PC so I can use pointer controls with a few games that'd be great

LOL tell that to the Dpad. X1 dpad is the worst registering Dpad ever created and this is after MS said they fixed it.

Seriously, what controller ISN'T compatible on PC through official and unofficial methods. The PS2 controller is played on PC. The N64 controller is played on PC, and I'm damn sure the Dreamcast controller is too. lol

Cool the controller I think is the best Nintendo has ever made.

I have a 360 controller for my PC but that d-pad is atrocious.

@wolverine4262:

How is the x1 controller perfect? None if these controllers are perfect. You can't even use that word to describe them because it comes down to preference and taste, and even then there are pieces that could be enhanced.

If you own the controller, I guess it's good, but otherwise it's just an Xbox 360 controller minus the analogue (shoulder) buttons.

I've been using my Pro controller on PC for a while now. Been using it for Deus Ex, Sonic Generations, and Skyrim.

It's not a very good controller.

I prefer the Xbone, and PS4 controllers.

I'm surprised someone could find the XI's d-pad worse than the 360s. I've found the X1's better for sliding inputs and generally more responsive. Case in point: I had to hit the 360 d-pad multiple times to get it to register weapon switching on Resident Evil 5 (PC) but the X1 d-pad works every time, even with a light flick.

I play a lot of fighting games and dpad button registration is very important and playing with the xbox one dpad is not possible even after they supposedly fixed it. It does not register diagonal inputs hardly at all. Throwing a regular fireball which is a simple down to forward slide motion takes around 10 times to register correctly. That's VERY bad. The xbox one dpad registers up, down, left and right fine but when you need diagonals, it fails miserably and is by far the worst dpad of any controller.

You should watch this and you'll see exactly what I'm referring to:

The Xbox One dpad is atrocious.

Well, the nintendo controller has the best D-pad. So it's perfect to play 2D platformers like say Super Meat Boy.

Great news !

well this is nice , i've been looking for a new controller

While the x360 controller is the best i've ever had, the triggers have too much resistance, the x1 controller is not really good trigger wise, stick wise it's better though and button wise it's a lot worse

I'll surely be trying this

Would never use it. Most games are mapped for Xbox controller and require no drivers. Plug and Play.
