Super Smash Bros. Melee. Mario Kart Double Dash. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. F-Zero GX. Metroid Prime. Resident Evil 4.
Stay salty, Blabadon.
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metal Gear solid: The Twin Snakes, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
Keep the salt, Blabadon.
No Animal Crossing? ;(
Not even close. I bet if you polled everyone on this forum about what their favorite games of all time were many N64 games would be on the list. Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye, Zelda TOOT and MM, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Smash Bros., etc. Wii U will never have classics like that. N64 was also the most powerful console of its generation. The Wii U is a joke.
So, basically this means:
If so, then the Wii U's legacy won't be horrible.
those points apply to the Gamecube and Wii as well.
I finally broke down and bought a WiiU last month and all I can say is that as long as developers don't give up on it, this is a very capable system in the right hands. I have been very impressed with Zombie U, Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros.U, Pikmin 3 and Mario Kart 8. This console has a lot of potential and has a place in everyone's collection.
same gotta laugh at the sad little chavs that hug their budgetpc consoles playing cod, fifa and dem exclusives.... and then calling wii u s*it when there are great things on Wii U too... and teh gamepad idea is actually pretty damn good... I lvoe it.
The WiiU is shaping up to be a great system thanks to its growing library of exclusives, but it's not comparable to the N64, except for its lack of 3rd party support. Firstly, the N64 was the most powerful console of its generation, secondly it housed many revolutionary 3D games that created certain standards well used to this day in the video game industry.
No, it's a modern day Gamecube.
The GC was more powerful than the PS2 and it rivaled the XBOX in terms of graphical fidelity.
The Wii-U is a modern day.. wii..
It's underpowered.
It has VERY little 3rd party support.
It has a great catalog of 1st party games.
The only difference.. it won't sell half as much.
No, it's a modern day Gamecube.
The gamecube actually had something resembling third party support.
The Wiiu and N64? pfft **** that.
even the n64 had better 3rd party support than wiiu though. tony hawk, mortal kombat, duke nukem, sports games. i mean not many of them were high quality, but still
