wii becoming discontinued?

i have heard several rumors of wii's potential demise.  can I get some confirmation?

if this is true i guess 360 finally gets to taste 2nd place

I think the TC meant that the Wii U could become the next Dreamcast.

I highly doubt such a thing will happen, though I still think that it should.

Wii will forever be known in gaming history as the console which went backwards in evolution , althought it was once called revolution :D

I mean all of that hype and the commercials too.

I mean with games like Twilight Princess, Red Steel, Metroid Prime 3 and to top it off Super Mario Galaxy and you get Wii Sports that shows off the New "Motion Controller"?

It's a wonder why the system flew off store shelves.

Shame that Momentum died shortly. Wii was and still is a good console, but most of the games it got were for a niche market.

They've moved onto the Wii U. They shouldn't keep the Wii going forever.
