I don't have issues with running my games. Installing a game is about hard as patching a game on consoles. I play MP games so I have no issues with DRM.
anyhting a console can do a pc can do better the only real reason to play on a console anymore is an exclusive or two made my developers sony, MS, and ninty have had to buy their loyalty in order to keep like bungie, naughty dog, and etc.

DRM can be bypassed or completely ignored in the case of GOG. The vast majority of my games install and run with no problems, not to mention most games have an auto-patch feature now which takes a majority of the work out of getting something to run.
PC gaming really is as expensive as you make it, someone running on a netbook playing indie games or old games is a PC gamer. In fact that is why the platform is the best in a nutshell. It is different things to different people. To some people it is all about the facebook games, to others it is about the indie games, to some people it is all about the old games, to some it is about having the latest in power and running stuff at the highest resolution, to some it is a platform to play online with friends, there are the people who use the platform for watching movies and then there are people who just use the platform to surf the web. Most people end up being a mix of those extremes and it sure as hell beats being locked into whatever Microsoft or Nintendo wants the core audience to be.

The only flaws to PC gaming is the few minority of games using poopy DRM, again a very small minority and little Japanese developer support.
It's complexity compared to consoles in my opinion is a pro because that scares off the casuals away and it gives us PC gamers more freedom to do what we wish. If PC is too complex for someone that they rather NOT deal with it or learn how to deal with it, their is always a console and a company that will "babyfeed" you everything.
