The answer might be in the topic title itself, but still, I find it rather curious that nobody talks about it. State of Decay, one of the best independent titles of last gen gets a 1080p overhaul and includes all DLCs along with gameplay tweaks as well as totally new content, new characters, quests, abilities, weapons - and yet nobody cares.
On Xbox One, the game will also be packing a huge range of new Achievements.
1500 Gamerscore is up for grabs and Microsoft has released a list of some of the all-new Achievements and also what you'll need to accomplish to earn them:
Survival Edition also boasts new monthly timed challenges, which can be unlocked by individuals or the community at large.
players who successfully complete these challenges are to be rewarded with new secret items in the game.
Microsoft have already teased that the first challenge will likely involve reaching a certain amount of kills using cars.
Other features getting tweaks include the in-game crate drops, which will now randomly spawn across the map.
Players will receive 'mysterious messages' via the radio and will contain the best weapons.
However, the crates come with noise-making beacons add will be surrounded by many undead foes.
The beacon will need to be turned off to stop the zombies flocking to your location, meaning you won't be able to just use your car to clear the area.
What's cool is that if you owned the original release, then you are legible to have a 33% discount if you buy this version within first two weeks of release.
Here are two gameplay vids, one of them from PC, second one from Xbone:
