Mario Galaxy got delayed. Miyamoto said it was supposed to be a launch title or come out within the first six months and it didn't.
All of Nintendo's franchises have been delayed at different times, though none seems more apt for the delay hammer than Zelda...
Be thankful you're growing up in an age of mass information on the hobby, because when I was a kid I only had a Nintendo power with a release date in bold letters....
You want to feel the sting of a delay, try going to the store on launch day for a link to the past only to be told the game was delayed three months....
Now a day we read about a delay from our phones in between loading screens....
Zelda takes effort to make?
Honestly, World wasn't exactly blowing a Land player like me away. **** sake, Nintendo. I'm sick of having to collect a certain amount of stars to progress. Let me clean up shit again like Sunshine.
Because Zelda games are far more ambitious in terms of design and scope than Mario? Mario may have the edge on Zelda in terms of focus, but Zelda has staggering scope with its game design. That takes time to properly implement.
@charizard1605: I distinctly remember going to KB Toy store with my money in hand only to be told the game had delayed... I believe it was pushed to April. If i remember correctly they were trying to release in jp and US markets at the same time and missed the US by several months. I think it hit Japan in November the year before.
