Why has the PS3 been forgotten?

Everyone is so hyped up about the PS4 and X1 that it seems people haven't noticed that the PS3 is going to be the true winner this holiday.

The PS3 has had quite the year when it comes to exclusives and multiplats and it is not over yet.

These are just a few of the exclusives available for purchase this holiday and with some of them being out since early this year, you can expect discounts on them for xmas specials.

Add in multiplat juggernauts such as GTA5, AC4 and COD Ghosts and you have a great backlog of games so why has there been little love for it on SW?

It hasn't. It's been another stellar, barn bursting amount of world class gaming. I expect the same with the PS4; support throughout the entire life cycle of the console.

don't forget about Dragons Crown and The Puppeteer, 2 more world class games welcomed to the SONY family.

It seems to be all about resolutions now which i find crazy as most people can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p

I don't think it's forgotten at all. Just most people here are busy bashing consoles they don't want for the next gen.

Good question. PS3 is still getting better games than PS4, and will continue to do so until sometime next year at the very least.

It has been an amazing year for os3 owners.

I don't see how you could say its been forgotten, just overshadowed by next gen releases.

The MS3 has games? Nope, I'm pretty sure that Sony wants to use the Moviestation brand to overcharge their movies.

As it is right now, the PS3 has more and better games with release dates than the PS4.

Everyone has forgotten about PS3, not only because Xbox 360 is better and more popular, but remember, Next-gen is coming out very soon.

Ps3 did really great this year. Xbox360 got abandoned, same will happen with the xbox720
