I'm highly disappointed in the fact that 1080p won't be the standard.

SMh at cows bashing xbox one for minor resolution issues that can easily be fixed in time, when the PS3 had way worse issues like being way overpriced and a shitty launch line-up, long load times, constant updates, online crashes etc...360 had the better launch games, and looks like the xbox ONe will have the better launch as well. Are you cows actually gonna buy a PS4? Seems like you spend most your time here being butthurt lol.
lol but you forgot the most important thing the 360 had...
Guys seriously, stop making threads about the PS4 having 1020p and Xbox One having 720p. The human eye can bearlly see the difference. Both consoles will have amazing graphics with an amazing GeForce GTX 780 GPU. Thats better then what most PC gamers have on their ''amazing PC's''. So please stop making a HUGE deal out of it, you honestly won't tell the difference. So if this is why a lot of you aren't getting the Xbox One, then thats stupid.
That's completely false. Anyone with normal eyesight should easily be able to see the difference between 720p and 1080p.
That said, the sony fandroids are just latching onto it for dear life because they had the inferior multiplats 3 generations in a row. So now all of a sudden resolution is the most important thing in the world. Even though they basically spent all last generation trying to downplay its importance and the massive advantages the PC has in that area.
Okay, here's the thing about the Xbox One running games at 720p...
...its a $500 piece of hardware, and right now its barely running games better than the 360 and PS3 [COD: Ghosts running at 600p on these platforms].
Screw the PS4, pretend it doesn't even exist.
WHY is the Xbox One only pushing 720p on a game that doesn't even look graphically impressive?
Ryse looks amazing graphically, on par with KZSF if not better and better than the rest of the PS4 luanch games.
Consoles never start off great (Ps3 had many problems off the start but fixed the issues over time, do you really think the xbox one games will always be stuck at 720p?)
BOth consoles have plenty of time to fix minor things like the resolution of the games.
The PS3 was a 599$ piece of hardware lol and was shit at launch, became better over time though right?
Both consoles arnt gonna be at its best off the start, yall should know that especially cows. They arnt even out yet for, give them some time.
The PS3 wasn't having issues running games that looked like they could have been on the PS2.
No, I don't think the Xbox 1 will always be stuck at 720p, but now we need to throw the PS4 back into the mix.
Why is CoD: Ghosts running 1080p on one, and only 720p on the other?
Sure, we can argue all day about whether or not most people can tell the difference, but from a technological standpoint, there is a HUGE difference between a 720p and 1080p render.
So, why is the Xbox One version getting gimped so bad?
Did Microsoft hand out shit-tier development tools to 3rd party devs [this has come up a few times]? Is there something wrong with the OS? Is the hardware disparity between the X1 and PS4 really THAT big?
Um... What? I can clearly see a difference with 1080p over 720p. I think you meant to say "frame rate".
Agreed TC. At the start of last gen, when only pc was really hitting 1080p, console gamers were like who cares it looks better than last gen. Now its a big deal. Effin stupid,
@bumsonfire: Because its twice the detail, and the human eye can most definitely tell the difference.
