Why do you play your console(s)?

Basically, why do you play your 360,PS3, Wii or PC? (Or any combination of them?)

Please, keep fanboy comments and flames doused. Dont try to compare two consoles to bash one and praise the others.

I used to see games as just games. But with next gen and innovation, I see them as art. The deep stories that are emotional and being able to see the creator's game is awesome. Like storytelling in Final Fantasy or Bioshock.

Also, online! I am able to paly with friends every day that if it weren't for online, I would hardly ever see them.

PlayStation 3 - It's quiet, has by far the best controller (imo) and multiplaform games have been running better on PS3 lately.

Xbox 360 - Has a large library of awesome games that can't be found elsewhere (Except maybe PC, but mine sucks. It's a friggin' Windows 98 :P)

Nintendo Wii - Awesome 1st-party games, as always and very popular system for parties. The girls love it too, that's definitely a plus. :P

Ill add mine:

PC-Large amount of games, seamlessly transition from games to internet, amazing customization skills. However, this comes at a significant monetary hit to the wallet, as well as how fast they age >.

Why do I play games (or my console)? Fun, stress-relief, relax/chill, etc. Gaming is a great way for me to kick back after working all day, and they give me something to do when I'm bored (or procrastinating :))

360- for the online
