I doubt the game is bugged or pirated since the "crack" just removes the DRM (my guess). A computer randomly shutting down, especially during cutscenes when things get heated is most likely a result of a part in your computer getting very hot and shutting itself down to prevent damage. Post a screenshot of these http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ and http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/CPU-Z.shtml while the game is running.
I would lower the settings to medium, as the original crysis on high is actually more demanding than warhead. Although I don't see you complaining about fps issues, it would mean it probably is something else. What are your computer specs? If your using Radeons, I would rollback to catalyst 9.5 or 9.4 as the newer drivers have some known compatability issues.
yeah its definately your power supply, you should check the minimum wattage requirement for your card, and fyi this should be on the pc hardware forum not on system wars
This is the power supply I use, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371007 . Since that seems to be the issue you shouldn't have a problem replacing it. Google has plenty of guides on doing it but if you are not computer savvy or are "afraid" of busting it then let a friend/techie replace it for you.
Yes its most likely your power supply and even if it isnt whats causing it to shut down, you still need to get a new one. way more than 300W.
And this kind of question belongs in PC hardware discussion. Thats were you will get good advice.
The minimum requirement for your Video card is 450w. I would go higher than the minimum too.
I might going to buy this http://www.frys.com/product/4806800?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG But i wonder if it can fit in my pc case......i don't see a lot spaces to add it, and im bad at building pc.... last time i add in new graphic card took me 2 days to figure out what to do...harvard1932
Ive never heard of that PSU manufacturer. Might want to ask for reccomendations in the PC hardware discussion forums.
Mine is like 50% speed but tem is like 90.... weird thing is that it stay 90 even i play crysis, or doing nothing.mine sometimes randomly shuts down my pc once after the loading map completes. its annoying. my gpu temps is 65-70 with fan speed @ 60%

OK i opened my GPU fan to 100%, and same PSU as before( i will buy new one soon) my pc still shuting down. This time is at COD5, i am playing on a mission called there blood something weee i forget, this time isnt at cutscene, it is at gameplay, so i couldnt finish my COD 5 mission, can some1 help me out please? And how long my GPU can last without a new PSU?
Your GPU will last... until your current PSU dies and possibly takes your entire system along with it (power spike, fire (no I am not kidding, FIRE) or whatever) Get a new PSU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Your current system is probably drawing close to 300 watts already, and no PSU can put out at 100% efficiency. You are begging to lose your entire system right now with that POS powering it.OK i opened my GPU fan to 100%, and same PSU as before( i will buy new one soon) my pc still shuting down. Stop playing 3d card intensive games until you sort the PSU out, for god's sake you're gonna break everything in it.OK i opened my GPU fan to 100%, and same PSU as before( i will buy new one soon) my pc still shuting down. it's your power supply...300W is too low and won't be enough for your system. You need at least a good brand 500W psu with a good amperage on the 12v railcodename-RYup.. that's what I was thinking. I had similar problems when I had a low power supply unit. PC runs fine now and no problems with my graphics or graphic card.
Get a 450 or higher. Nothing less then a 450 though. You should be fine after that.
