you forgot one more option. When you just like or prefer something and people jump on you and call you a fanboy just because of it. The word "fanboy" has lost its meaning. It's like feminists with "harassment".

My dad worked for Nintendo which was why I had all the insider information and I felt superior. When he got "let go" he went to work for Sony and I was swimming in 32 MB memory cards. When he left that job to pursue Microsoft I bought into the Xbox brand before he got the job because I was so excited.

I wouldn't say I'm a fanboy but I definitely have a preferential bias towards Nintendo because I enjoy their ames the most. Also I'm not a huge fan of Sony at the moment because they basically dropped first party support for vita.
