Who will win the Console Wars in the long run?

I went with the first option. Ps4, Xbone, Wii-U (although i am hoping Wii-U will come 1st or second)

Have to point out though, Ritalin is for kids with ADHD which are not 'handicapped kids'.

I know, my Son is statemented with ADHD, we don't get disability for him because he's not considered 'disabled' AKA handicapped.

ADHD comes under what we Call SEN (special educational needs)

As it stands right now I would go with option 1 PS4 / XBone / Wii-U. It's really anyone's game at this point though. We are what 8 months into this generation? The PS4 has the lead, but if MS secures some interesting exclusives they could easily pass the PS4. No console is a given to win at this point. Nintendo also has some interesting games on the distant horizon. Brawl will sell some consoles.

You know I have always wondered why Nintendo has never released Pokemon games on their consoles, just on handhelds? Imagine how many Wii-Us they would sell if they put the next Pokemon games on the Wii-U. Seems like a really missed opportunity for the Big N.

@ghostwarrior786: yup... maybe a cliché answer but it's appearing true. Ps4 and xone are the same console that will share 95% the same games... they're giving games away and the battleground is separated by who is offering gamers the most value... (there's that word again... value) nintendo doesn't seem to want to follow along as a copycat console which aids gamers further in certain ways... once they start selling the wiiu at a reasonable price it'll be gaming bliss all around.

I think the PS4 and X1 will finish so close that we'll be arguing for a couple years after this gen ends.

Only a miracle can save poor Ninty at this point, and I doubt their "quality of life" products will amount to shit.

In terms of quality, PC. That's right TC. Sorry to break the news to you, but PC will most likely be the best platform for the gen, looking at the current situation, and the last 3 years in gaming.

Considering the XBox will be discontinued, the WiiU will retain second place.

@Shewgenja: the x1 has sold over 5 million units in 8 months, it's outselling the 360 why would it he discontinued.

It will likely stay how it is now, ps4, x1 , then wii u a distant 3rd but still with millions of sales and by no means a failure

It sold 10 million in the US alone by its second year. Worldwide it was just at 10M by the end of November '06.

@Shielder7: To me it's a sku at 200 and a sku at 250 (with an acceptable hard drive) Thats where I'd start getting interested. Considering it's limited hardware, tiny hard drive and the assumption that many of the greatest games of this new generation won't make an appearance on the console and thus (for me) can't be used as a stand alone console, I won't even look at it till it hits those numbers. No wiiu hate here, just a crowded market and I'm sorry if this stings, but nintendo hasn't exactly earned my enthusiasm after the wii.

1st option, PS4 is the victor this gen, good games, good resolution and more. Since X1 did the 180, i can't see the Wii U being 2nd and X1 being 3rd now

Wii U is irrelevant. If Mario Kart and 3D World didn't help it surpass the sales of the xbone's let alone the PS4's then it will remain dead last till the gen is over.

Not to meantion the fact that the xbone got better over the last 6 months. Now both consoles are so identical that people have to fight over which offers the best service, EAccess or PSnow, to determine which is offering something the otehr doesn't.

WiiU is too busy releasing good exclusive games. Maybe the xbone and the potatostation will also do the same in 2015.

I am saying that i have a handicapped daughter yet i did not find what Shielder was saying to be that offensive to be honest with you, because i know he was just being a Prat and because he was saying that PC gamers are handicapped kids, he was insulting Pc gamers, he wasn't actually insulting Handicapped kids unless being called a PC gamer is insulting.
