Who will dominate next gen, PC or PS4 ?

PS4 sold 1M units day 1.

Steam added 10M of new gamers in a year´s time.

I bet on PC, as all good games on PS4 are PC ports, while PS4 and X1 exclusives line-ups flopped miserably.

Right now, cows have no better game to hype than Resogun. If we start measure the success of a platform by indie games, then PC is an undisputed KING. Lol.

Right now, consolites are excited for the scraps from PC table, or else they don´t have anything to play apart of their flops XD

In terms of games it looks like pc then x1 then ps4 right now. X1 games not scoring great but there are more than the ps4 so far. In features its x1 then pc then ps4.

The PC very well could be the king this gen. It always dominates in terms of graphics, replayabilty, and online play, but this could be the first generation that it really receives mainstream attention. With Steam continuing to evolve at an amazing rate and with what Valve is doing with the SteamOS and Steamboxes, PCs could finally give consoles a run for their money. However, consoles will most likely continue their mainstream domination due to ease of use and the fact that PC gaming can seem a bit daunting to those not in the know.

Personal Computer or PS4? Are you serious? PC will get console ports and a bunch of low budget games that no one bothers to review.

Wake me up when PS4 has a AAA exclusive which is not an indie. Lol.

What score is AAAA? The best scores are from Journey of the Roach 7 and Intake 8. These games can be played by anyone with a PC.

As for topic PS4 will dominate but like other user said its more mainstream. PC will Win as always.

When it's all said and done Pc ultimately wins every year Gen. Pc will ultimately have more games, better graphics, more options, free online, cheapest games, more indie support, better hardware, and a larger install base.

PC has higher standards

As far as mainstream gaming, the PS4 will have the edge.... for a few years. But as PC hardware keeps becoming cheaper and more powerful, it will lose that edge. This isn't like the PS3 vs high-end PCs where they were pretty evenly matched at the beginning. This time the PS4 is coming in with weak hardware nowhere near high-end PCs and that gap will only continue to grow. 1080p, the elusive resolution for consoles, will fade into memory as 4K becomes cheaper and more popular and the PS4 simply cant match that.

by the time 4k becomes cheap enough that people will start buying it the next gen of consoles will be coming around. Those prices are ridiculous right now, and even when the cheapen up, they wont start flying off the shelves to the general public who already has currently solid tvs.
