Who is innovating more?

I recently read that ps4 is trying to stream games to PC which is exactly what Xbox did with win10.

Do you feel Xbox is more innovative than Ps and Nintendo bra sue they're always doing stuff to improve the games industry?

And do you think Xbox will dominate gaming for the years ahead?

Which console brand do you think will be the go-to console one day?

Is it better stick with Xbox, ps, or Nintendo for now and the coming years?

( I like asking the challenging questions to get more opinions :) )

Microsoft are professional software engineers, Sony are hardware experts, Microsoft's software innovation and feature creation is generally always going to be first and better.

Sony, as always, are scrambling to catch up and copy them.

Microsoft, clearly... They try new stuff, they are faster with new features... Sony just does copy/paste, which isn't a bad thing, but that's no innovation.

Let me just put it to you this way, there's no telling what you're going to like more or what by the end of the generation served you better and provided more. I owned both a PlayStation 2 and a Dreamcast, I'm sure you're well aware that the Dreamcast was a dead system two years after releasing. However even in spite of that I still like my Dreamcast, the games and experiences it provided to me over the years more than I ever did my PlayStation 2, even though the PS2 got a lot more games and more people owned it.

You have to settle down and find what will bring you happiness and enjoyment, **** the rest.

MS only does shooters so Sony.

No one is innovating at the moment. Sony's consoles are just iterations (they even name them that way). MS's consoles are hardly more various. Nintendo has never made the same console twice in a row, but the Wii U isn't a very good console (though some software is good). For me then it comes down to who's taking the biggest risks, and that's Nintendo.

That'll be the PC..

@tushar172787: Outside of graphics there doesn't seem to have any innovation. Maybe you could argue the day PC started to use consol controler instead of only Key/mouse or stuff like VR but still it isn't that involving as consol where our controller changed so much through the year to what we use now... PC is like key ... then key/mouse in early 1990 ... and since Xbox360 you have a controller.

Sony wasn't attempting to stream games to PC, it is a third party app the tricks the PS4 into thinking the PC is a Vita or PSTV. They forced Sony's hand.

Nintendo is the most innovative.

No, the PS4 will continue to dominate.

Get them all if you can, or get your favorite which should be the PS4.

It sadly ends there. I cant name one xbok exclusive game that was just different on a high level. Correct me if im wrong

I honestly don't think it's a cut and dry case. Both Sony/MS are innovating in their own ways... MS more so on their software side.

Take a look at the entire list of genres on PC which are missing on console and you'll get the answer...

Lately Microsoft, but that's the reason Xbox One didn't sell as much as PS4. Core gamers don't want innovation, they/we want more powerful versions of the good old gaming consoles.

Microsoft brought proper online multiplayer gaming to consoles. Microsoft brought proper indie gaming to consoles. Kinect is 10x the camera PS eye of PS camera tries to be, and Hololens is true innovation. Lol, at little big planet. How is that innovative? It's really not a discussion, everyone knows it's Microsoft. Like I said, it doesn't mean that the things Microsoft creates are great, it's just more innovative... That's not necessarily a good thing, if the things you create suck...

Unlike yourself I don't worship a console brand. I know that is hard for you to understand since you have a strong bias and expect everyone else to be the same. As far as getting consoles online MS wasn't the first. They took that idea and combined it with what goes on with PC. Not really an innovation if you're following something else.

Innovation is overated.

Especially since we are now at a point where a buggy game is good enough to release.

This is the truth. Do you really want innovation on the hardware side? I don't feel like we need any massive upheaval there. Save that sort of thing for the games themselves. Simply more powerful versions of consoles with slight improvements to controllers and UI will do for me. And I think that Sony and Microsoft both would agree as I see no innovation really from either. Virtual Reality headsets on Sony's side maybe but that's still in the future for the most part and remains to be seen.

Activision, EA, and Ubisoft.

Xbox is much more innovative with way better ideas and will proceed to do that in the years coming and be successful with it.

Sony literally just copies them in any way possible so they seem better, like the kinect, device streaming and now backwards compatability.
