There's plenty of opportunity for Nintendo to create some amazing touch-based games for mobile devices themed around its most popular franchises. Which Nintendo series you all think would be best suited for mobile devices? I say Mario Party has a shot since the one's on Consoles have derail so so long. Or Animal Crossing is practically tailor made for mobile gaming. I can already see the ridiculous headlines about some dumb twat burning thousands of dollars on bells. Mario, Zelda, or Metriod is out of the questions since they require good controllers and Mobile still lacks of good quality controller.

Android is a bunch of pirates

I could see nintendo thriving on IOS where people don't pirate games like PC

IOS = consumers that buy things

Android = hackers pc elitist etc etc where software goes to die

The mobile games will be something similar to what's already on there. Free to start puzzle games etc.

I would love to see a mario bros. style runner game.

Don't expect to see anything remotely close to what they traditionally put on consoles.

Mario as it's Nintendo's mascot and has a much bigger brand awareness towards adult gamers. Secondly, will be Pokemon as the franchise is still the longest running Fad of all time (I'm joking of course), their won't be any main games for mobile phones of the franchise, but I could see that Gamefreak already has ideas to improve battling and trading with Generation VII. Obviously Zelda, as they could make another Bejeweled knock-off staring that lame-o Tingle.

Pokemon shuffle like games. Quick simple platformers and puzzle games are about the only thing I see them releasing. Slap their IPs across them, and they have perfect advertising for their real platforms.

Animal Crossing, perfect for picking up for a few minutes and stopping. Except, it would need to be more limited so as not to give the whole game's experience on mobile. Plus, Animal Crossing: New Leaf had some fun addicting mini-games that might work.

Kirby Triple Deluxe also has some good mini-game collections that could work on mobile. They were sold as standalones games as well.

@schu: I get paid monthly with hugs and kisses if that's what you want to know

Honestly, I'm just filling the whole as no one cares for the OS, and I'm sick of a 2 party system. Also, Windows Phone really is a great OS I'm just sick of people writing false info about it

They'll probably see much more money on Android than they will on iOS because the former's gamepad support is much better than the latter.

If we look at iOS, the only game that'd really work would be Pokemon Stadium (which i will admit needs a revival)

I wouldn't want to play an action-oriented game by Nintendo on my phone. I'd rather get a full-fledged strategy game on the phone than the 3DS, though. The phone is just the superior system for games that don't require buttons or analogue.

I think they said they're not porting games, so they must be only using the licenses. As far as licenses go I think Mario and everything Mario related. Other likely candidates probably include Legend of Zelda and Metroid.

He's right, though. There's plenty of evidence to support that post.

Listing any games typically associated with Nintendo -

Mario Party, Advance Wars, Pokemon, Golden Sun, Kirby, Fire Emblem, Punch-Out, Pikmin, Earthbound, F-Zero, Animal Crossing, Nintendogs, Brain Age, and Warioware are all games/series that would transfer with almost no sacrifices.

Heh, I suppose I was focused less on that part and more on the piracy part. I didn't really pay too much attention to the broad stroke generalizations.

Nah, I don't see that happening any time soon. Windows Phone just doesn't have the ecosystem iOS and Android has built. It will be a long time before Windows Phone gets there.

LOL you made me laugh! Did I mention Windows 10? You know, the new OS that will unify the entire MS ecosystem? With it's latest build and new development tools, a Mobile game developer will be able port all their games across multiple devices that has Windows 10. Android has issues and still does due to the fragmentation's its plagued with. No matter how you can say that Android has improved, it still runs sh!t on low hardware and Devs are force to keep making updates to run their apps properly on low-end devices.

I'm curious (because I've done no research on Windows 10) what are they looking to unify? Office 365 of course (but this is available on iOS and android), but what unifying will be done that I can't do on my android device right now?

Not that I'm tempted to board Windows Phone ship. Just for my own knowledge.

I personally can't stand the Windows Phone OS. It's very bland and boring to me.

Well that's your problem :P

MS will be unifying their app store across Hardware and Mobile devices. That also including make a new set of tools with DX 12 that can help App devs create Windows Apps and port them at ease with little trouble across the many devices. This is definitely big for Mobile Game developers as they can create their mobile games on phones, then smoothly port them to the Xbox One, PC, and Tablets. Yes, the Xbox One will run Windows 10 as well as running Windows Apps as well.

I used to be all for Android, but then I got sick of the constant Android apps crashing all the time and the constant updates that are almost daily. Not to mention that it takes a very long time to have updates. Windows Phone to me is much better as its more stable and I've better apps that had me not rely too much on Google's very own.

I've personally never experienced constant crashes. Sure, an app crashes maybe once a month for me, but that's nothing.

App updates take a while for me only because I never use Wi-Fi. Once I connect to Wi-Fi (the rare time of once a month), they all start updating.

I personally don't play games on my phone so I guess your first point is nothing to me.

And yes, it's my own problem that I don't like the look and functionality of Windows Phone :P

From your original post, I was comparing current android to current Windows Phone. I haven't read anything up on Windows 10 and didn't see the unity they're trying to build.
