Which Fighting series would you support reviving?

So a few fighting game franchises have been dormant OR have gone in the wrong direction, so which of these fighting franchise would you support a revival of?

Here are the choices:

Soul Calibur 6: SC has recently been in the free 2 play field, something that a lot of people don't like. A new AAA budget SC6 on current gen consoles with refined gameplay would be an amazing experience.

Street Fighter EX4: The EX series is mixed, with some saying it has the best games in the SF universe, to some saying the games confirm that SF will never work in 3D.

Virtua Fighter 6: One of the few franchises Sega owns that still has some leverage, a new VF with it's tactical combat and movement mechanics as a retail AAA title could be a revival of the franchise.

Clayfighter 4: This series was never serious but was quite entertaining and had a decent skill curve. The claymation on modenr hardware would be a sight to behold, and we may yet see Earthwrom Jim again.

Fight Night 5: This game has a lot of potential. While it may be a costly franchise to revive, it's basically unmatched. Would revive the boxing genre.

Def Jam: a series which would need to be restructured to really make a comeback, but the series staple of popular starts as cast would make this probably the easiest to bring back to life and make money.

Out of those the only one I'd care about is fight night. I like a good boxing game. Combo mashers are definitely not my thing.

Yeah it's a shame EA blocked that series, didn't even flop financially.

I'd really like a new Virtua Fighter for the PC.

I want to see a remade or a new Fighter Mega Mix by Sega and throw Yakuza and Shenmue characters in it!

Nah I'm good... DoA5LR just came out in February so theres no rush.

I would however like to see Killer Instinct on more platforms.

And while we're at it I'd like the Naruto games to not suck. Not joking..... game is horrible.

Soul Calibur, but there are rumors that is already happening, so I'm gonna say Darkstalkers.

I'd like a Capcom version of this idea. Bring back fighting jam but in 3D, megaman Vs. ken.

Like to see a remake of Fighter's History, which was pretty much a clone of Street Fighter. lol!!

Fighter History was different Street Fighter, enemies had weakpoints.

I'd definitely would be on board with another Fight Night, I love that series. Also would enjoy a Marvel vs Capcom making a return.

It kind of is...at least at this moment, SNK said they were developing one, but that was 2 years ago and since then they went silent, people were expecting an announcemente last E3, then last EVO and now again this E3...nothing so far.

TigerSuperman: Yeah...no, sorry but the 3D versions for me were incredible underwhelming (MI 2 was far superior than the first one, that's for sure, but still way below their 2D entries).

I think you're not realizing that XIII was a big project that redid the series, and they have to make sure they got money. It's probably going to be announce soon, Windows steam version of thirteen was 2013, so i think by now the money is there and they of course, need to top xiii.

Yes and this is why I said they should try 3D again. They have a formula they just need to tweak it.

I think I played it on my cousin's mega drive if I remember correctly. It was so much fun.

This is the main franchise I want revived. Great characters, great fighting engine, sudden deaths, overkills, cinekills, vendettas etc. This game has more fatality moves than even Mortal Kombat. A great franchise that has been in the vault for too long.

@AM-Gamer: yeah, Toshinden and its sequel were a lot of fun. Remember being pretty disappointed with the third though.

Virtua Fighter for the PC

well, I'm still pretty happy with Marvel vs Capcom 3 although the game's in a serious need of an update right now. Like a few new characters, songs and stages but that's not gonna happen.

Another game I want , and 99% of the FGC too, is Capcom vs Snk 3 but Capcom don't listen. Instead they went and made Street Fighter x Tekken and it flopped horribly. Ironically the fucking game has the best online system of all the games they have released to date, which is a damn shame.

Yes a new king of the fighters would be awesome.

You can play Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on PC until that happens.... they got 4 Guest Characters from Virtua Fighter 5. ;)
