Which disappointing 2014 AAA game did you enjoy the most?

Well, I've only played Destiny, so imma say that. Destiny is well fit.

Dark Souls 2.

Eh, Dark Souls 2, inFamous: Second Son, Lightning Returns, these weren't exactly 'AAA' games.

Darksouls 2 scored AAA here, was released in 2014 and was a disappointment on several levels, especially considering how fantastic Dark Souls was.

I'd say it matches the criteria.

I've played none of those.

I mean AAA as in the business model of AAA games (high development budgets with hundred man teams, high marketing budget, appeal to the western gamer, and so on).

Anyway, Titanfall.

Titanfall lacked alot of content, but due to being a simple pvp FPS, it got to where it needed

Wash Dogs had awesome hacking to allow environmental control, but despite the large amount of content, the side missions and storyline where mediocre enough to bore me down.

Destiny? I've only play a strike in a firends house going by the repetative design and lacking content, plus that abysmal shit for a campaign, that'd be even lower in my mind.

It's crazy to think that I have yet to play any of those games.

Super Smash 3DS. I really enjoyed the demo but flop is a flop. As for the real answer: probably Destiny. I did enjoy Watch_Dogs, but considering I basically forgot about the game until you brought it up, that pretty much sums up the kind of game it is (remember Wolfenstein? forgot about that too). Titanfall had potential but the whole 6v6 and lack of content and also the AI grunts kind of messed up the experience.

Definitely Titanfall, played it solid for about four months before I went travelling. Only downfall would be lack of content.

Destiny. Failed to meet my hype in everything except gameplay!

Destiny! the game has so many flaws and stupid things in it i seriously dont get why im still playing it daily lol.

its straight up a 6/10 but its one addictive 6/10 game, honestly if it wasnt for my friends playing the game with me everyday i probably would have sold it long time ago

The problem with Titanfall was that it was incredibly fun, but what they showed off in the beta is literally all that they had in the final game. I still maintain, it would have been better off as a free to play game, or with more of a gestation period that would have allowed them to flesh it out with more content.

Considering I don't think of Destiny as a disappointment but many do, Destiny is my pick. It's my personal GOTY.

Titanfall was the only game of those 3 that I played, and I enjoyed it. I would give it a solid 7/10.

titanfall. it does some amazing things but the devs fell short on a few things that hopefully are corrected in the sequel. destiny flat out sucks and would need a major revamp to be any good. not played watchdogs

Titanfall, it's the only one of the 3 that's actually a good game. The other 2 suck.

haven't really played destiny a lot so can't really comment but titanfall and watch dogs are the most mediocre games ever with big budget.

Same here. I enjoyed DS 2 until I got to the 2nd to last Boss Fight & then I suddenly felt like it was lackluster.

I haven't played any of the games in this poll.

I've only played Titanfall so far out of those three, so I'll go with that. I found it rather lacking due to the lame campaign, but Last Titan or whatever it was called was a really fun game mode.

Dark Souls 2.

I enjoyed the stealth in Watch Dogs and raucous Tifanfall sessions with friends, i'd put them both on about the same level.

I love Destiny, but for the sake of the poll and considering so many find it a disapointment....I guess Destiny.

Infamous had a huge budget and has been marketed since the ps4 was announced.

I hated Watch Doge. Destiny played well but was boring.

But Dark Souls 2 had all of that, as did Infamous and Lightning Returns

(Dark Souls 2 is also my answer, even though it's my favorite game of 2014 so far)

I've played none of those, and I doubt I ever will. I'm good at ignoring hype and buying games I know are good.

In beta they've had 3 guns, 1 titan, 2 game modes and 2 maps available.Not sure on the burn cards count, but they also were not all there.

That's 1/3 of the game at best.

Titanfall and Murdered: Soul Suspect.

I don't understand the dislike for Titanfall. It was disappointing in a few parts, but it was an incredible game.

Definitely not on the same level of disappointment as Watch Dogs and Destiny.

Completely disagree, that statement applies more to Destiny.

After playing the Titanfall beta, I expected more weapons, more maps, more titans, more abilities, and a fun multiplayer campaign. Titanfall delivered on all of those except the campaign.

After playing the Destiny beta, I expected a fun loot system, in depth character customization, meaningful end game content, more interesting pvp options, and an epic sci-fi story. Destiny delivered on NONE of those things.

Destiny, even though it's a very frustrating game. It has its good points, but a lot of the time I shake my head and think what could have been.

haha, seconded. Once I get a this gen system I'm going to have plenty of games to choose from and already feeling a huge backlog.

I have no desire to play either of those :) I kinda wanted to try Destiny but that hype is as dead as my sex-life.

Right now Watch_Dogs is the only one I've played so Watch_Dogs
