All we seem to be doing on System Wars lately is to bash developers and publishers for making lazy ports, rehashes and cross-gen titles that don't fully capitalize on next-gen systems capabilities. Can we change our spiel or a moment and praise those who are worthy? They don't necessarily have to be multiplats by the way!

Which developers would you consider the least lazy when it comes to delivering next-gen experiences so far? I'd say the latest Monolith's iteration of LithTech engine fared quite well on PS4 and Xbox One despite Shadow of Mordor being a cross-gen title. I'd also say Creative Assembly despite working on PS3 and X360 delivered a respectably next-gen experience in Alien Isolation. Normally I wouldn't have mentioned AI, but the botched job Ubisoft did with PS4/X1 versions of Far Cry 4 compelled me to do so. What's your say? I hope someone will mention something that will surprise me or I hadn't thought of.

Nintendo's doing pretty well with putting out products that actually work.

I wasn't overly impressed with new gen titles so far. I can name a handful, but I won't; I don't have time for arguments right now. I will say the MGSV GZ was good and polished for a cross gen game.

I await this upcoming year to impress me with MORE true new gen only titles...and even then it will only be 1st gen titles. There are devs that have yet to complete their new gen games like Rocksteady, Hello Games, CD Projekt, Naughty Dog, Sony Santa Monica, Monolith Soft, Nintendo EAD/Eiji Aonuma, From Software, SCE Japan, SquareEnix, Remedy, and more that I await.

I do not think I have seen an actual lazy effort by the developers in terms of next-generation gaming.

I think Ubisoft has been quite lazy lately.

Ubisoft..saying things like parity, means they aren't even trying anymore..just aim for the lowest hardware. I doubt they even put in effort the get best out of Xbone. :P

Least lazy..would probably Nintendo, .Monolith Soft. :P

Naughty Dog. The Uncharted 4 footage could be mistaken for Uncharted 3 easily.

I also think this goes to Nintendo. They had a rough start and the WiiU, wihtout 3rd party support, will end with the tinnier game library of the current gen consoles, but every single game they have released for the WiiU is a polished great experience. They've made the best 2D Mario and platformer (NSMBU), the best 2D Donkey Kong platformer, the best Pikmin (and best adventure-RTS game because it's the only one of its kind I think), the best Mario Kart, a great 3D mario (although I don't like it as much as the Galaxy games because of the 8-directional control) and I expect a lot from their games for this 2015.
