And the reason it's fun is because it allows much contraversy and debate, a little reason why it's called system wars. To seriously answer this though, the moment a new system on both sides are shown, that will be the day the war ends, and a new one begins.
Sony should give up on the PSP for a while and work on making the PS3 more appealing. I do like the PSP but I'm not going to buy on until it comes with some sort of flash memory or something because I really don't like the idea of using Memory cards. Never have, never will.
I've been saying this for a while, but the general consensus amongst Sony fans is that sony should not abandon "the most successful playsatation ever". I'd love to see Sony regain some ground in the console space because there isn't a chance in hell they can salvage the handheld market. For me the PSP represents the first time a playstation failed, and i dont think that it's an image that Sony should sustain.Sony should give up on the PSP for a while and work on making the PS3 more appealing. You say that, but there were definitive points at which the PS2, GB and PS1 weere crowned winners. There is only going to be one winner here, but we ahve yet to see a universal consensus and system wars is HELLA fun, i wont argue with thatDS- 40+ million
PSP- 25 million
Need I say more? I don't even know the point of DS vs. PSP threads anymore, I don't forsee the PSP catching up. Especially not with DQIX and so many other appealing games coming. Heck, I can only imagine how well the DS will do in Japan between all of the FF games and DragonQuest.
Almost EVERY topic on these boards and every other board out there that even slightly mentions the DS or PSP gets urned into a 20 page flamewar about which system is better. PSP fanboys argue that the PSP has higher rated games, multimedia functionality and console quality graphics DS Fanboys argue that the DS has a superior range of exclusives, is better built for gaming and is far more successful But when will it end? The "War" is already over, Nintendo is just cleaning up the bodies and finishing off any pockets of resistance. Â
Both are awesome and both deserve to sell very well.
Both should be respected for offering a quality gaming experience, each with something different.
The way I see it, the PSP IS innovative.
What other system has EVER had online and portability that good?
32 multiplayer Medal of Honor.
16 multiplayer Call of Duty/SOCOM.
8 multiplayer Killzone(Coming soon, it's a patch) and a ton of other online games.
