Tomb Raider Fraud Edition is 60 FPS on the PS4.

With TressFX 2.0 on, AMD 7850 runs the game at 30 FPS.

It's sad how cows need to lie about stuff to make them still believe the ps4 has this magical power difference over x1 and PC. PS4 has a 7970M with 8 ACE's, it's a above a 7850

7870 runs TR at 1080p/60fps on Very high with FXAA, it's not TresFX 2.0 btw

it's been confirmed that at least the ps4 version is 60fps/1080p and it does look like it has tressfx on

No it has not. Square confirmed the resolution. Some guy streaming it made a comment it was 60fps but he is incorrect. How the the company making the game wrong, but a small time game reviewer making a comment mid game correct?

maybe you don't know this but the PS4 has faster CPU, better ram designed for graphics and a bigger GPU with 4 more CU's (=256 cores) than the Xbone. And these are cold hard benchmark facts.

Maybe you don't know this but I make a living in IT and have been for 10+ years. Most of what u said is false. Ps4 has a better gpu, x1 has better everything else. And the x1 has a better apu overall which includes the gpu

I followed the link, I never heard of gamerpur. They claim it comes forms a games radar live stream and provides a link to the video. I click the link and the video was removed and the URL is now bad. No offense but I'll wait for a reputable site to confirm the resolutions of games. Of course console optimization is real. You would have to be mental to think a dev cant squeeze more performance out of a fixed box when targeting a specific hardware configuration over that of a variable one.

I seen it, always good to hear, but as OP states its 30FPS on PC and X1 which is incorrect. PC runs at 60fps and has since last year, and the X1 version is unknown as of now. Also i agree with the guy that, that doesn't look 60fps. even the guy playing couldn't tell. either twitch is dropping frames or it wasn't really 60, but they will have it at 60 on release so that's why he said 60.

It is not real, and multiplats are a prof of that.

We'll wait for the release. All versions are probably 60fps. No one will know for sure until the game is actually released. I can't see anyone forking over $60 again for minor improvement and extra content. Waste of money.

No he's claiming the 7850 can only run the game with Tress FX at 30fps, which is true assuming you're running everything else (except AA) at the highest setting as well.

@lostrib: question is what settings is the ps4 running on. Can't compare until we know that.

I heard it wasn't--that they significantly toned it down for consoles....which quite frankly is good. 60fps is far better than maxed out TressFX. It was a stupid feature with crap physics.

Yeah, i turned it off, it was not worth the performance hit for stupid hair. It had weird physics, and it would clip through everything, and it seemed like it had strange lighting at times

Yeah, I am more impressed by Nvidia's fur tech, but TressFX might get good in the future once they solve all those issues.

you probably laugh at it since its longer then you been alive. and thankfully it pays very well so i don't have to take sides like lems/cows/hermits and can enjoy all systems ;)

and yes depending on the operation. Neither ram is "overall better" then the other one, they just have different strengths and weaknesses and since your leaving out the eSRAM added in with the dd3r, it makes up for the 1 weakness it has while the major weakness the GDDR5 ram has, , isn't compensated for. They are also limited by the speed of the bus, where sony for some reason capped it to the CPU at 20GB/s plus the high latency basically means the CPU is badly gimped. in terms of computing power, most cell phones will smoke the PS4. Not to say the X1 CPU is much better because it isn't, but it is faster, has better ram for it, more bandwidth, and has to take on less work ;)

no it was confirmed by many sites prior to this video, but since there hasn't been any announcement or DF testing, I'll wait and see.
