other than its not my fault that most non FPS games today are bad. even most FPS today are bad but good ones are best games this gen (Doom/Metro).

@ghosts4ever: I really like playing FPS because first person games are the most immersive.

Where you look is where your character looks.

Dishonored isn't an FPS but is very immersive too, another game would be Kingdom Come Deliverance.

I think Battlefield 1 and V ar really immersive too because of the graphics and attention to detail.

When RDR 2 hits PC, I think I will play it in first person too.

Sorry to inform you ghost but I play more than just 2 genres, and if you're going to set rules for the thread then live by them because you have around 10 games named in your very first genre. Stop sitting on the fence and name JUST 3 FPS games.

theres so many FPS games i couldnot choose 3 so I choose 2 series and one 1 game which i will always consider best.

I've been gaming for over 30yrs and I doubt I could name just 3 in any one genre, just like you can't.

although some games in your list i like ie Alan wake which is easily best game in your list so kuddos for mentioning that. I believe its better than any of third person horror game like Resident evil. used to like sonic games when i was young.

other than i think L4D is worst valve game because its just coop zombie game, tried red faction guerilla and hated it because its just another bland open world game but with destruction and terrible gunplay. original was better and was just ok game.

Played Street of rage 2 long ago. played TMNT game on genesis and both i liked when i was kid. so yeah i heard and played many of those games. Alan wake is best because its Max payne like horror game.

Its called powerslave. and it release at the time when far superior Quake 1 also released. 90s has so many amazing FPS and you choose that of all games.
