What's this place like this gen with no wars?

With how well the PS4 is doing and how badly the Xbox One is doing, the Xbox can't really be considered a participant in any sort of war, right? I mean to have a war, there needs to be multiple sides battling. It seems like Sony already beat the Wii U and Xbox One a long time ago.

Reminds me of gen 6. Pure and utter Sony dominance.

I'd say that the same thing could be said for last gen with the Wii dominance, but let's be realistic, the Wii was competing with the PS2, Xbox and GameCube, not the PS3 and Xbox 360.
