It's not hard to be uninterested in a Sonic of SSX game...neither game is anything to get excited about and pay $50 for.

Maybe in a slump for you, but not for the rest of us. It's in a slump for the majority of people. I think more people like these game then what your thinking, and if your talking about the Majority of People here I would agree, but if your talking about majority of people that bought a Wii then you might be wrong because the Wii has games that appeal to them if they bought it just for Wii Sports there are alot of games they like that are out right now.

Just because a game doesn't get AAA status doesn't mean you shouldn't play them or look forward to them. You seem to be the type of gamer who won't settle for anything less then really big name games.

No, it wasn't. :| It was hyped high-A, and achieved that, though it deserved a higher score, IMO.
