What were Sony thinking with The Tester?

I don't know why I'm even bothering replying to TC when its obvious he is such a lemming. Bing better than google because MS made it. HA that one still makes me lol.

But the Tester was no worse than any other reality TV show out there in fact in a lot of ways it was better. I was really skeptical at first but I watched the first episode and it wasn't terrible like I had imagined. In fact they managed to tie in the challenges with the requirements for being in QA. You would've known had you actually watched an episode. Plus it was better than anything TV related the 360 or MS has put out.

Sure the actual job they were competing for was **** but it was actually enjoyable to watch I have to say.

Sony is trying to appeal to their demographic that's all.

In all seriousness, I can not understand and fathom the point of The Tester. Maybe most of you might not even know what The Tester is and I will try to explain. The Tester was a PSN reality TV show. That's all I can tell you about it because I did not watch a single full episode. I think the show is over now but what good did it do seriously? Now that I thought about it, I think they called it The Tester as in Crash Test Dumbies because in my reality of things and educated opinion, this show crashed and failed. Sony would rather spend money on a show that nobody watched in my personal gaming experience than try to produce more PS3s so they don't have to give this so called shortages excuse every time. So if anyone can enlighten most of us, what was the point of this PSN reality show called The Tester.reanimatedchamp

it would be a better show if they won more then just being video game testers, seeing as Im pretty sure that anyone with a high school education and thepatience and ability to play video games thoroughlycan go out and get the job.

The show is entertaining for when "nothing else is on" and isnt meant to be taken serious.

I watched all of it and had some laughs. They should bring that Barmy guy back for season 2 and use him as a villian in the challenges.

to be honest, i would of liked more gaming than the other stuff they did on the show...only time you saw them playing games was the finale when they played uncharted 2

There was nothing really wrong with the reality show part.

There was something really wrong with the price.

I jsut think it was a really crappy grand prize. since when is being a Game tester a Glamorous, Exciting thing? Its probaly one of the most soul crushing jobs there is. Cant wait for the winner to realize this and think to himself "I did all that **** for this?"

The Tester is a great show . (I only watched 4-5 videos still trying to finish it)

But the TC is reanimatedchamp .. I will always remember him no matter what .. The day he joined Gamespot , he was instantly fused into my brain .. You know why ? reanimatedchamp is never serious , he is only here for the lulz because his sig is Justin Bieber . :lol:

No but seriously, reasonable people would tell you not to take it so seriously and to just enjoy it for what it is.

The above said, the show is garbage. I mean, not only do we have to put up with this kind of crap in other entertainment industries, we have to start putting up with this too? Hopefully they won't come up with anything else along the lines of this regurgitated mess. Seriously, leave this type of trash out of this industry, we already have enough of this going around to last for a lifetime./end rant.
