What secured game will have the most impact TR2 or SFV

I'd say in the long run, Street Fighter V.

Tomb Raider was a huge Surprise and caught everyone off guard, but it's been confirmed that it's timed exclusive (but how long that time is we don't know).

Street Fighter V however has NO mention of Xbox anywhere. It's going to be on PS4 and Steam and both PS4 and Steam Users will play against each other, so If Xbox One was to be added in later they would have to incorporate the Xbox One into the Netcode so PS4, Xbox One, and Steam users will play against each other and I just don't see that happening.

Street Fighter is a HUGE loss to Xbox fans.

Tomb Raider. I love Street Fighter but I doubt that it'll be a system seller.

This is a no-brainer, street fighter. Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive but the ONE will never see SF5. Tomb Raider won't touch Uncharted in terms of graphics or gameplay.

The other issue is that I expect more exclusives to PS4 and less to the ONE over time as the install base widens.

Good point . But not everyone was Xbox 360 owner last gen.

So, in other words, even MS admits that SFV was a devastating blow to the platform and promises to try to do something to make up for this Death blow level revelation? It's funny that even MS realizes how tremendous of a deal this was when xbox fanboys on here are trying to act as if Street Fighter is an easily dismisable franchise or something.

There was absolutely no damage control from Sony when MS first made the TR announcement. That right there tells you difference between the level of impact both games represent.

Phil Spencer feels they needs to, "make amends for SF" because SF is an irreplaceable franchise. Sony felt no need to "make amends" for the TR announcement because they have UC regardless. That is how it is.

TOMB RAIDER was exuisite and one of THE best games of that year. It was leaps and bounds better than uncharted 3 and that bow and arrow gameplay was exciting and spot on control wise. Can't wait for the sequel.

But SFV is the more popular of the two and will have the biggest impact.

But both games will eventually go multiplat. (Street Fighter V in future iterations. i.e. Super Street Fighter V.)

Neither is a game I would buy a new system to play.

Anybody who thinks Tomb raider isn't as iconic as SF need there heads testing, that being said SF will probably remain a Ps4 exclusive whereas i can see TR going to PC at least.

Microsoft is publishing TR so all you cows saying it will definitly come to Ps4 are seriously deluded in my opinion.

SFV by far. SF has the competitive scene backing it. And its the biggest game at events like evo. I see this being a big factor in this comparison.

TR is a timed exclusive. Are people ignoring this fact or do they really not know this?

Honestly, neither to the degree you all think. These aren't games that sell 10-15 million copies. We all know TR didn't sell amazingly, but neither did SFIV really. The vanilla version of SFIV sold 3.3 million copies and that's across multiple platforms. Each iteration after vanilla sold around 1 million. Settling on two platforms is really going to hurt sales of both games. Not many people are going to purchase a console to play either game. Luckily both are coming to PC, so I'm not worried.

Tomb Raider will be an ok game and people will talk about it for a few months, while SFV will be relevant for most of the gen thanks to the FGC, so yeah, SFV no doubt.

Neither are really big sellers but SFV will probably have a bigger impact. The PS4 has a game in the same genre that comes out around the same time as TR and will most likely be the better game. The Xbone on the other hand has a far inferior fighter.

Uncharted 4 and SFV vs. TR and KI.

Not really the hardest of choices to make. TR will probably come to PS4 at some point too.

And that's where I'll be playing it.

Honestly I don't see either of them making a "HUGE" impact..

SFV - With Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat X and DOA 5 releasing.. the fighting scene will be VERY crowded next year.

TR - This is a "better" pick up for the XBO as M$ doesn't have a TR like game in it's archives but with Halo 5 coming out there won't be a lot of chatter about TR late next year.

..besides they're BOTH going to the PC.

The fighting game community is going to gravitate in huge waves towards the PS4.

Not to mention Guilty Gear and Ultra SF4 on the way as well.

In the longterm, SF is a bigger impact than TR, especially since Sony has Uncharted 4 to combat the cross gen TR.

if sony can convince its fanboys uncharted games (all of them) with sub standart visuals are graphics king, micorsoft can convince xbox fanboys TR is graphics king even running at 20fps 720pin a DDR3 machine
