What new Wii U game announcement sold you on the system?

No one game, but the chances of me buying a WiiU rose from "absolutely not" too "probably in the future".

Ok, I'm still mildly hyped, but the disappointment has set in.... mainly because of Yoshi.

I thought Epic Yarn was cool and it looked awesome, but if there is a Nintendo game I've played in recent years that was purely focused at children, that was the one.

And Yoshis Island had a killer styIe, so why not move forward with that? It has its own great identity, it doesn't need to look like Epic Yarn. Oh well.

Still pleased with the announcements though. Cant wait to see what E3 brings!

I had already planned to purchase a Wii U once the new Super Smash Bros. gets a release date.

The Project X game looks cool but I'm not sold on the system yet. I want to see some more new games and third party support.

You know, I would have cried had Twilight Princess been the game that got the HD treatment. I enjoyed Wind Waker back in the day, but I always thought Twilight Princess was the better game of the two. Hell, Twilight Princess is my second favorite game in the Zelda series after A Link To The Past.

Still, maybe if WW HD sells well, maybe Twilight Princess will get the HD treatment. I would love to see a HD Twilight Princess.

lol, what a bunch of dumb posts. The question is whether if any of the announcements sold you on the Wii U. My answer is no, because I'm well aware of what I like and none of these games are up my ally. I call WW trash because that's what it is. I bought it in '03, and have never been so put off with a Zelda game before or since. No Nintendo consoles? I own every every Nintendo console and handheld post the NES and up and through the Wii and DS, so please cry some more fanboys. :lol:

Nintendo Land was my reason.

I can see it making it into my top 20-10 games of all time if I were to make such a list.

100+ hours and 80/80 stamps later, it's still a blast. Multiplayer modes that last forever, just try Mario Chase with a group of friends.

I was already sold before the console came out, today just reinforced it. I'm hyped for most of what they announced. My only issue now is time. When this work load passes I'll be playing Ni No Kuni. After that, I'll buy a Wii U.

SMT x Fire Emblem, Project X and Wind Waker Reborn all look promising. I guess they all contributed.

I liked WW more, but TP has its own amazing aspects. I do think both could use some slight modification in areas, but TP needs more, so if they do remake it, it should be more than graphics and they should really add to the content of the world.

I wish they would give SS the same treatment as WW. Honestly, SS is the harder game to look at of the two. Completely due to how jaggie it looks.

I wish they would never speak of SS again (not because its bad, but because it isn't Zelda tier in my opinion)

New Super Mario Bros. U, along with the inevitable Zelda, Mario Kart, Smash Bros etc. is what intrigued me to buy the system. I collect games so I was obviously going to buy a Wii U anyways no matter how much it would potentially suck. That said, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is officially my most anticipated game, not just on Wii U, overall.

One of my favorite things about the Wii U is how in local multiplayer, someone can use the tablet controller to play while giving the other person the full TV screen. I play games with my girlfriend all the time and she is totally satisfied just using the tablet controller to play. I'm teaching her how to play Call of Duty.

Edit: Just now heard about a Wind Waker remake. That's gotta be top 3 for me, holy ****. Wii U gettin' dat support!

None of them.. i dont do ninetdno.. well i may get a 3DS later in the year for pokemon but i wont bother with the console as i dont play mario or zelda which are 90% of nintendos gaming library, didnt like bayonetta and for sure not into that pikmin thing
