I like bright colors...so I'm a big fan of games like Viva Pinata and Okami.

Castlevania has always been good. killer 7, XIII, wind waker are all good.I like the new monkey ball's art style.

Way I see it every game has at least some form of art style or direction. Realism is an art style. Has been for a long time.

That realistic/anime-ish style... Final Fantasy, Zelda, and Fire Emblem would be good examples.
