after playing titanfall beta, pretty confident that titanfall will land near the top of the list. Quite few more big games coming later this year so its going be fun!

I haven't played anything that has released this year yet, but Banished looks the best.

So far, Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze, most definitely. No idea what the GS reviewer was smoking, the game is awesome.

Have nothing as of yet.

Bravely Default is the only game from 2014 that I've completed. Currently playing Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, but I haven't put in enough time yet to determine whether it's more enjoyable. In all honesty though, at the end of the year, I would rather just pick about 5 or so games that really stood out over figuring out which one was best.

#73 Posted by Zidaneski (8482 posts) -

@ShepardCommandr: Have you played it?

#74 Posted by AznbkdX (3268 posts) -

Honkey Dong: Tropical Freeze so far.

@bbkkristian: I just reached Eternia, still in Chapter 4. Gotta grind as the enemies are kinda hard for some reason.

DKC is like the only good thing that's come out so far.

It's sad that people consider a game called "easy, short and shallow" as the best we have so far.

Obviously Dark Souls II.

I haven't played it yet but I can sense it's greatness approaching. Like an imposing army marching upon the horizon towards my location, and I stand solitary, awaiting the challenge ahead.

That much hype is only gonna let you down.

Not going to happen. I've been in the dark up until last week when I started watching some beta footage. I'm expecting more of the same with improvements in every area. That's what everyone seems to be saying about it.

I'm going in (mostly) dark.

I should finish the original, but I don't have the motivation, despite its excellence. The first half of that game is significantly better than the second.

I beat the game once. I probably made 30 different characters for various reasons (mostly different PvP builds). One need not beat the game to really "play" it.

So far it's South Park, which was mildly enjoyable.
