What happened to the 3DS?

Amazing 2013 and now there's barely any games this year. There's Mario Golf and Kerby.. not exactly something to cream your pants about.

Nintendo's probably focusing on the Wii-U more right now.

I wouldn't expect a 2013, but at least wait until we are a majority of the way through the year.

I've creamed my pants for Kirby before.

It's still there.

It's there, slowed down, but there.

Getting more games than the Vita.

I barely played it last year...

Somebody forgot about Bravely Default.

Nintendo's busy burying the WiiU as fast as they can.

There's a bit more games out and coming out for 3DS 2014.

It's just there isn't much to hype up about (unless you're European then you should and still be playing Professor Layton X Wright).

And Somethings that may not have been announced yet. Other wise it's a solid year, but I think people are more focused on PS4, One, and WiiU right now than 3DS.

2013 was more of a "wake up" year that the 3DS is an awesome machine. Also we had Fire Emblem, Shin Megami, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon that year.

It had a good, overrated 2013 and now a barren 2014.

they blew their load in 2013. its not really a big deal to me since im still catching up.

Yup, looks like I wont have to break it out all this year. More time to focus on PS4 and Xbone then I guess.

Nintendo is actually planning on killing off the Wii-U and starting all over with a new system.

If youre going to throw out stuff like that its pretty much just pathetic rumor unless you provide links that confirm that.

So come on, show us links where Nintendo said that exactly.

Wii U has a better lineup than 3DS this year, but did you just mention Kirby and a crappy Mario spinoff on that sentence? :/

3DS line up last year was ridiculously excellent.

But yes the great 3DS does have higher standards compared to the other systems out now that have underwhelmed.

Mine is collecting dust, its an amazing dust collector.. the next game i'll play on it will be whatever poekmon game releases this year.

I actually have yet to play anything on mine, kind of sad but I'm waiting for the new Kirby game.

I just want Dragon quest VII to be released for us Non-Japanese 3DS owners.

Didn't you say you wanted to play Bravely Default? How will you ever like a system that is not Sony's, if you don't actually try any games from the other systems? :/

They had an amazing 2013. I don't mind a mediocre 2014 so they can focus on the Wii U. Frankly, they gave me a backlog from 2013 anyway.

Im waiting for a price drop so i can buy it, im not going to throw $45 on a 3DS game. hopefully by the time i finish FFX and FFX-2 HD on the Vita BD will be $15 or less.

after pokemon BD is the only other game i would like to play on the device but again will not be spending $45 to play it.

Last year was okay but it doesn't look like there is any amazing games in 2014.

No, it isn't not in Japan or in the the West this year.

lolhandhelds, It went wrong when it was released to the public.

i traded mine in, too gimicky, the resident evil exclusives are the reason I even bought one.

I heard they are searching the ET-landfill to bury it there.

Hopefully a new Advance Wars title will be announced for later this year.

It's pretty quiet. Nothing looks enticing enough to buy.

It's just sitting, collecting dust. Much like the WiiU.

With the exception of Bravely Default and Kirby, it's really bland this year.

Hopefully we get some more announcements by E3 or a new direct soon.

Are people still buying into this rumor?

It has slowed down but the wii u really needs the attention. I'm warping up bravely default and Kirby should be good. Once smash bros come out I can live with a slow release schedule because I played Melee on and off for 4 years. I must have logged a thousand hours in that game.

No, I do not. Plus, I'm not talking about backlog. I'm talking about a lack of interesting games to buy.

No not really, but they should really do it.

I've always said Nintendo should just go handheld only.

Not every game was worth buying.

And again, I'm not talking about last year.

If they announce Majora's Mask remake, Metroid, or Advance Wars 3D, it's all over for the Vita.
