So there's plenty of games out there, that regardless of how good they are have absolutely god awful endings. What game do you think has the worst one and why?

Mass Effect 3 is the only correct answer.
to be fair they fixed it a little with the extended cut, it went from the worst to just terrible
why is the last of us up there?
I think he's also thinking from a disappointing/unhappy ending which in some ways TLOU didn't necessarily end very happily. Depending on how you look at it, it could be considered a bad ending.
I seriously don't get why people hate the ME3 ending so much?!?! They definitely could've fleshed it out a bit more, but I thought it was fine. I guess I'm one of the very few...

Yea, I don't see why people dislike the literal personification of a deus ex machina showing up in the last 10 minutes of a 90 hour story to destroy everything you ever loved with a giant space dildo, and then advertising DLC.
Biting sarcasm aside, I don't agree it's the worst, there are plenty of shitty games with even more shitty endings. We just overlook them because they weren't worth our time.
Fallout 3 ending was absolutely terrible.
I stopped playing that game shortly after I reached the ending, and I had lot more stuff to do. That end sucked away all the passion I had for the game, I hated it.

... Clearly you haven't played KOTOR2.. That game has the most memorable bad ending I have ever seen, in that there really wasn't one and the game literally cut off with you just flying away, or staying in the asteroid temple... To make matters worse is I remember that entire section of that game being incredibly buggy and rough around the edges.

To be perfectly honest it really always sounded like people were pissed that there wasn't a "good" ending for them... And honestly I didn't think ME3's biggest fault in that game was the ending, but the entire pacing in how it literally crammed huge events happening in it.. ME3 had quite a few major plot points that could have been their own complete games compared to how small scale the first two games were. It felt rushed.
The Orders is pretty bad.
I have to have a street fight with this guy, when I have a gun and when I shoot him with this gun he dies immediately. Just one of many inconsistencies in the game.
Just finished COD AW. Wasn't really blown away by the ending either. Most fps games these days end with somebody falling a great height to their death.
Psi ops the mindgate conspiracy. You beat the last boss, some helicopters show up and it says "to be continued" which has not happened.
There are thousands of games with way worse endings then anything you listed... On that note, other. Not even close. If you think those games had bad endings then you haven't played many games.

True. As much as I loved KOTOR, I remember some review saying KOTOR 2 had a game breaking bug in the gameplay, so I totally avoided the game. Of course, that was a long time ago and I stupidly believed what reviewers said back then.

yea the martyr ending was pretty bad and the fact that you werent even able to continue to keep playing after until broken steel was terrible
I don't understand what is Bioshock Infinite doing on this list. In fact, it has one of my favorite video game endings of all time, it made me want more but satisfied me at the same time. The ending alone was the deciding factor for me to buy the DLC, and I rarely buy any.

It did have game breaking bugs, it was released unfinished!
