@epic-gamerz: The gaming divison isn't the issue. Everyone could buy a PS4 and it still wouldn't help. Its there other divisions that are sinking the ship. Google search "beleaguered sony counting on new game machine". This shows you the state Sony is in as a whole and that the gaming division might not be enough. As William said, Sony would probably have to sell off everything and just keep the gaming division to keep afloat. Kaz is running the company into the ground.

I was gonna say this is the best thing that comes to mind but then I read this.
Thats pretty bad considering Michael Jackson died owning half of Sony which the Jackson estate still owns so.......I'm at a loss hopefully this is not the end of Sony but Bravia did'nt make a profit in ten years and ps3 made no profit everything they try right now they hit a brick wall. They need a bail-out or a major financial backer like Apple or Google someone who has money and software developers to match M$. Sell everything but the Playstation brand and target casual gamers then you don't have to concentrate on making so many AAA games.
Sony fanatics purchasing stock? Ya know.....instead of annoying people on message boards. Or better yet, just donate $$$ to Sony directly. Have some save Sony car washes or bake sales maybe....
Carbon is how. Sell off the consumer side of their devices from TVs, video games, movies, and invest strictly in research R&D for chemical engineering in nano-technology, break the ground in setting up production of graphene displays for TVs, phones, computers, and basically become the supplier of necessary materials to companies like Apple and Samsung. Also revolutionize battery technology with carbon nanotubes super capacitors would be great to do as well. Water technology desalination technology will also be lucrative for the future as water resources are to become more scarce, as graphene filters require less pressure to pull water through. Carbon nanotube production would also be ideal for development of photovoltaic cells due to its potential to capture nearly all of the visible spectrum.
As for gaming, make an offer to Apple or Samsung to take it over.
