More than likely imho.

The press loved COD, just remember that when you read about all the hype this game is getting. And its EA, so of course its going to get milked.
It's published by EA.
If it makes them a substantial profit which it probably will then it is only good business to make sequels.
EA's goal is to make money. If Titanfall 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 etc can do that, best believe they will milk it for every penny
if ea as yet to make bf yearly. the odds are small. with number of employee's at respawn. the odds are even smaller. few months ago there was only 70 employee's. of course I am postive that number as grown with rhe hype aurrounding the game
I dunno. It's a multiplayer-only game. COD gets milked a lot, but that series has its single-player campaigns as a big draw.
I doubt it will be milked to CoD levels
As bad as EA has been lately, they're not one for yearly releases (aside from spports games).

That will have no bearing. There will be a Titanfall 2, and 3, and 4, and 5, and 6 before the generation is over.
I think so too especially if the first couple games sell well.
@PannicAtack: no one gives a shit lick about cod sp, I wouldn't be shocked if its removed after the success of titanfall is going to have
@Couth_: I know. they dont own the ip but they only signed for one game?
@Willy105: I dont see 6 happening untill new systems come

At the moment there is only one game announced or planned. The deal Respawn signed gives them complete independence and the rights to their intellectual property. The only way I could see a milkage is if Respawn wanted to move on and just sold it to EA for someone else to make, but in that case Respawn would be making something else anyway

More than likely imho.
I dont know if will be like COD but it will alot
Well EA has been looking for their COD game for a while now, if this game pulls it off i wouldn't be surprised if they buy the complete rights to the game.

gotcha! well considering the hype, have yet to hear a bad thing from the press who have played it. I bet there be a second one whom ever it may be with. Shoot they could have planned it like that. Take what ever they can get, make hell of a game then find out who wants to pony up the most cash for the future
Activision had two studios working on COD, they had Infinity Ward and Grey Matter / Treyarch, so they could leapfrog development. As far as we can see there's no second studio working on Titanfall over at Electronic Arts. At best it'll release every two years, so no I don't see it being an annually milked title.
if it does well count on it, battlefield has done well but is still far from being "the" shooter but considering there have only been 2 franchises that can claim that on console that's to be expected, it all started with Halo, then COD came in and grabbed the throne, BF has made a good stab at gaining market share and done the best of any other competition, coming up we have titles like destiny and titanfall and we'll see what happens.
About 150 percent, assuming it actually succeeds and doesn't flop massively. Expect to see massively overprice DLC, yearly installments with nearly no improvements, and lots and lots of hype.
Pretty sure EA said it would get put on rotation so more than likely. Doesn't seem like it would take long to pump out a sequel.
